I have a Tassimo, and it has much more different drinks to choose from than the gusto, so for me that's the win..

Thanks OP,Amazon for me..

I have a tassimo and no matter how much I descale the drinks are still watery. Am tempted with this one.
#7
Gusto all the way.. Couldn't do without mine!

I think you also get £10 off your first order of pods when you register the mqchine. You might want to add that to your listing. Im basing that on the machine I bought and the front of the box had it detailed in tesco.

Bought thanks op

I have a tassimo and love it. You get £20 off pods when you buy a new tassimo.

I think both are great but the tassimo wins for range of drinks and the very regular discounts on their website (advertised on hukd of course)

I have a Tassimo which I admit was a risky at the time because I had no idea but I can happily say they're excellent quality. never had any issues with watery drinks so don't know where that issue relates to. I'm told the Gusto is excellent too so sounds like a case of what a Gusto has over the excellent variety of Tassimo

I have tried Tassimo, Nespresso, Senseo and now have Dolce Gusto (this model)......I'm not a coffee lover but husband is.....he prefers the coffee from both the Dolce Gusto and Nespresso. The milky drinks like Latte's and hot chocolates from the tassimo were watery and weak. Lidl stopped selling the cheap Senseo coffee pods so we sold that machine, the Senseo pods weren't that nice and worked out expensive for average tasting coffee.

For milky type drinks and ease of use/clean I think its got to be the Dolce Gusto.
For only coffee then the Nespresso has the widest range of coffee pods and now lidl to compatible pods. They don't do anything other than coffee, if you like lattes then the Nespresso with milk steamer is best for flavour but more cleaning and faffing involved and initial outlay is a lot more.
For a wide range of drinks then Tassimo do fruit teas, chocolates, chai lattes and flavoured coffee.
Personally this machine is our favourite for taste, ease of use, and its easy to clean.
Happy to answer any questions.x

I got this in the black Friday deal and it's probably best thing I've bought for the kitchen. The drinks are lovely. We got a £10 voucher aswell and bought it from amazon, so in effect, you're only paying £19.95.

I think it's because there is a build up and no matter how much I descale it doesn't seem to make a difference.

That's just tassimo for you.

If having a coffee, I used to put in two discs instead of one. Same goes for hot chocolate etc.

Now? I just use my old drip machine. It's better.

Of all the pod machines I've used, I have to say, if it's coffee you're after, the nespresso ones are great.

Glad I ordered when I did too. Still £29 on John Lewis though but free click and collect or pay for delivery.
#27
Looking forward to it pitching up tomorrow!!

Got one at this price before Xmas - for me. Nothing wrong with my old one but this one is better with the drink selection which makes things easier.

You cant go wrong with one of these - unless you drink gallons of coffee etc of course!
