My favourite instant coffee. I've never seen it this cheap. Usually 4 quid plus. Occasionally £3. National Deal, but this was Main Road Romford Express.

Great find I am paying £2.50 at Asda at the moment.

nice find op, i'll see if the local metro's around the same or similar, finfers x'd

There were other "flavours" if anyone was interested. I think our tea club manager went and bought the entire stock at this Tesco.

This should be hotter, not seen this coffee at this price for a long time! Thanks OP!

I was thinking the same thing. I've been buying this coffee for years, and don't remember ever at this price. I'm actually a bit gutted as I literally just invested in a Nespresso, so I don't even need it any more.

It went over 300 degrees at £2.50. This site is a funny old thing. Oh well...

hasn't been this cheap for ages, great price
#8
Is it any good though?? Does it taste better than Carte Noir??
#9
Mmm caffeinated puddle water - and only £1.99 :p
#11
Definitely my preferred "instant" and at a great price. Thanks op
#12
Good find.. thanks OP

Good deal, thanks

I recently discovered the Percol Fusion instant, but they seem to be thin on the ground. If anyone can find it anywhere, it’s well worth trying; it’s blended with ground coffee beans and tastes (and smells) like a very decent ‘proper’ coffee.

so at half price its 1.99 but at normal price OP says 4quid plus....
good deal but no need to be a drama queen

Half Price Was £3.99 Now £1.99

he didn't say it was £4+ at just tesco.

This is a terrific deal and is also mine and my mrs favorite instant coffe - i think it is better than Cart Noir, Furbys. At £2, you should definately try some.

Great Post OP - thanks

'sure'
he normally buys it from harrods eh?
not been more than 3.99 in past year at asda, tesco, sainsburys and morrisons but sure 4 quid plus is wholly relevant....

I seem to recall seeing it in either B&M or Home Bargains...?

oh... it says so on the label?! lol!
online says was 3.99, mysupermarket clearly plots 3.99 as highest price
naturally it only shows one price or so per week but as tesco runs deals for multiple weeks at a time thats relevant
thats not vindication you can smell, perhaps time for a loo break

Tesco Express are always more expensive than Extra. This is where this was taken. And bought. And as rhii27 says above, a lot of them sell it at £5. Chill out.

Why on earth would you click on a deal for something you think tastes like caffeinated puddle water!?

I have a Nespresso and only use the strongest pods, and if I have a coffee out and about only like ones with double shots, so I feel like I'm not totally ignorant when it comes to good coffee. This, as an instant is certainly not puddle water. Try it with two teaspoons per cup.

picked some up today thanks OP!
smelled a touch fishy tbh but gave it a try anyway, dind't think too much of it but had just eaten strongly flavoured food
also picked up some percol stuff and thats just plain weird imo
