Cap Colombie is a blend of 100% Arabica beans from Colombia. Coffee may well have been introduced here earlier (probably by Jesuit priests in the 18th century) but cultivation began in earnest in the early 1800s and, today, the country produces around 10% of the worlds coffee crop. Tinto (or coffee in the local language) remains the most popular drink with Colombians who like it strong, black and very sweet.
I saw this in store today at my local Sainsburys, East Kilbride town centre. I'm not sure if it is store specific or available at all stores.
Too cheap not to buy.
