Have you only to use the nescafe pods? If so, how expensive are they? I know nothing about these contraptions but I know my daughter would love this.
The Nescafe pods are £3.99 for a box of 8 but Asda and Tesco have offers on regular where any 3 boxes are £10

42p a coffee? That's a rip off.

Coffee beans are one of the cheapest things you can buy (after a tea bag).

Those coffee pods aren't easily recyclable either (most local recycling collections don’t take pods because they are made up of a mix of materials) and instead, they end up in landfill waste. There are billions of these pods dumped into landfills every year.

I am wondering the same, I want one with a good variety of drinks but not limited to just coffees, I also want chocolate which rules out the Nespresso I believe, but Currys have both the Tassimo Amia and this for a similar price. Leaning towards the Tassimo myself but would like other opinions on the quality of the drinks, price of pods and if any cheaper compatibles are available.

Alot of the good tassimo drinks and bundles are always out of stock on the site, its rare we order now as you have to spend £35 for free shipping and they hardly ever do discount codes, we just buy decent granular coffee instead now as thats all it is in the pods.

Boxes of 16 coffees, or 8 drinks if they come with milk pods (16 pods altogether).

Hundreds of these in white piled high at Tesco Sandhurst, same price.

I had a gusto for a year and then changed it to the tassimo. The coffee is better with tassimo and you can get costa. I know or Jacobs espresso and use fresh milk, heat it in the microwave and then have the perfect latte

I did see somewhere buy this machine for a pound when you buy the pods for around 30 pounds.. hmmm now when was that?
Gives me the idea that the pods are way to expensive then the machine in the long run? I like the coffee though. But would I spend that amount of money? Or buy coffee beans ground them and make my coffee in a 15 pump pressure machine at home??

Is £10 voucher for nescafe pods included?

From looking around, some sellers list these just as refillable, others say that each refillable pod has 50 uses. Not sure if they are quantifying it due to some degradation of the material or for another reason.

well that was my question to the men who were introduce them he said that the pressure (bars) in these is a lot higher than the tassimo one which is nearly like Costa kind of pressure in their coffee machines

Thanks, if bought today and registered, in addition to the £10 voucher there is a deal running until midnight today (28th) of a free box of chococino caramel with any order of six boxes. Combining all these offers means the machine plus seven boxes would be a grand total of around £44 depending on boxes chosen. Rather tempting now.

yes it is inside the box of the machine
#26
Waste of time all of them except nespresso as you cannot retrofit the pods.

I bought one from eBay Tesco for this price and have been really pleased with it. The boxes for 3.99 do contain 16 pods so for drinks that include separate milk such as cafe macchiato or cappuccino that's 8 servings. The cafe au lait and expressos contain 16 servings. I would buy one or two lattes from costa etc every day so am saving a small fortune by making my own

Aldi's sell 3 different flavours £1.97 im sure it was for 10 pods

Why do they even make red ones? It's ALWAYS the red ones that get reduced. Red fits with no Kitchen unless you are named Roxanne.

This says it's automatic on Currys but this model is a manual version isn't it?? I found the coffee isn't as nice as the Tassimo although it's cheaper the buy online than Tassimo. The milkdoesn't leak either like the Tassimo pods did when delivered. I'm in the fence with mine and may still return as it spews milk in all directions.

Seen this in the local tesco in westbrom same price

Make the razor cheap and the blades expensive. These manufacturers will sell these machines super cheap and make the money back on the (very environmentally unfriendly) pods. Give me a mocha pot over one of these pieces of junk any day as I prefer a decent cup of coffee.

Been waiting for these to be on offer for ages. Got red machine and 48 coffee pods for 36quid (with the tenner off voucher), not bad at all. Red hot.
#34
get yourself a sevrin milk frother to go with these and just buy boxes of espresso to make great cappucino & lattes

There are attractive recycling schemes offered by the manufacturers of the pods to ensure they are recycled.

'Retrofit'? Do you just mean reuse?
