Nespresso are now offering a 12 month coffee subscription service, which allows you to buy one of three machines for just £1.00 each.

The full monthly subscription cost will be credited to your account and can then be used to buy anything available on their website (coffee, treats, glasses etc).

The credits do not need to be used each month and will continue to roll over, up until 2 years after the 12 month subscription ends.

The subscription costs are as follows.

Inissia £18.00 p/m

Inissia and Aeroccino £25.00 p/m

Lattissima Touch £45.00 p/m

I personally already spend over £30 p/m on coffee pods and will continue to do so, so this just means a new £1 coffee machine for me.

Hope this is of use to others too.

I didn't put the £18 in. That was added after I submitted the deal.

Cold from me and here why....
So went to John Lewis last week ...bought the inissia for £49.95
this included £45 pounds worth of pods (£30, then £15 later then another, all added to your nesspresso account ), but i spent the first £30 on pods when i bought my machine...
so i got my machine for 4.95 and no subscription...
Not sure if the offer is still on , but check it out, it might suit you.

I signed up to the deal here partly to get a second machine. £18 a month is about the amount of coffee I drink and I'm allowed to buy 50 pods to get free delivery instead of 200.

I went with a similar offer to yours with £75 of vouchers a year and a half ago and because you get it in 3 £25 spends I always had to top up my orders to hit 200 capsules to get the free delivery.

It's an existing deal but a good one, hot from me OP

Same here. Plus you don't have to spend all or any of the £18 credit each month, you can just roll it over and use it anytime within 3 years. I know I will def be buying enough coffee to cover me for that period, so it seems like a no brainer for me. £1 coffee machine and coffee that I would be buying anyway.
I'm guessing the majority are not keen on the whole subscription thing though.

I never jumped on this last time it was on here but I'm still interested. What would you say is the best package/machine to go for? There's two adults that would be using it for say 2-4 coffees a day on average.

That very much depends on whether you just want coffee? Or if you also like the occasional cappuccino or latte too?
The Inissia will provide you with just the coffee.
The Inissia with Aeroccino will offer coffee, cappuccino and latte.
The Lattassima Touch will offer coffee, cappuccino and latte (but with a much simpler and quicker process than the Inissia and Aeroccino).
I personally have both the Inissia & Aeroccino and the Lattissima Touch (from this current subscription). The Inissia is just a back up/guest room machine now.
In regards to the amount of coffee you drink, on an average cost of 33p per pod, over 31 days, the following monthly costs would occur...
2 cups would be £20.46
4 cups would be £40.92
So, based on the fact you have 3 years to use your credits and they don't need to be used each month (any money not spent keeps on rolling over), I would say your best bet is going for the Lattissima Touch (as you will likely be spending that much on coffee anyway). Even if you just have 2 coffees (per household) a day, that will mean that you will have enough credits to provide you with 2+ years worth of coffee.
Hope that helps.

Hot from me. Can't understand why anyone who drinks coffee daily wouldn't go for it. I did the £18 a month deal and then realised I'll still have to shell out every six weeks despite what's in my account to pay for my 200 pods. We average about three cups a day in our household.

Very tempting for me - working in a city centre so it's either a typical takeaway coffee (£2 from all the main coffee shops) or instant in the office kitchen which is a step down once you've got a taste for a decent cup. At home I have a Nespresso machine and love it but that's mainly for weekends (unless I get five mins on the way out in the morning!). So to get a machine for a quid and then spend (in my case, because I like the idea of the milk frother) £25 a month contribution to spend directly on Nespresso capsules is good value as I would spend at least £2.50 per day otherwise (maybe £5 if I get one for the afternoon as well). £25 will get me around 80 capsules a month so if I order that each month then I've got 3 or 4 capsules a day roughly. If that means two americanos, capuccinos or lattes a day (two shots each) then that's a big saving (we get milk provided in our kitchen to go with the instant coffee and tea bags!). As long as I can fit it in my locker (clear desk policy!) then I'm going to go for it.
I think I'll pop along to the Nespresso shop first though for a demo just to make sure it's as good a model as mine at home...
Thanks OP!
