Do we really need American chocolate on our shores, if anyone has been to America you should already know how unnecessarily rank it is!

It's amazing what they get away with in advertising in the US. Not sure our ASA would support 47% sat. fat/46% sugar products being targeted at Simpson-loving kids!

Always check the "Use By" dates on food from B&M - found some things a few weeks back that were a couple of weeks out. Not the end of the world but some people are funny about eating out-of-date stuff...

Baby Ruth's are just a terrible Snickers. Never tried a Butterfinger, the name just sounds too dodgy. Great price either way, cost a fortune in the Tesco's that have them.

I like Butterfingers, but they're too sickly to eat a king size in one go hah

Only eat Butterfingers if you don't like your teeth.

You can almost feel the sugar eroding the enamel.

Agreed, it's horrible. I don't understand people who go mad and pay silly money for cr*p american food like the sugary breakfast cereals and such

Babyruth takes me back to the days when I lived in the USA. Thanks for sharing :D

Butterfingers are absolutely disgusting. Baby Ruths are ok, and the White Reeses Cups are nice too

I bought my mam a butterfingers as she likes peanut, I do myself but these things are horrible I spat the bit I tried out. I'm not a massive sweet fan anyways but every single American sweet I try is sick and overpriced

Brachs Corn Candy!!

Oh, I misread the title for a moment. Thought it said 'Buttfinger'...was scared to click it.
Saying that, I can't imagine the taste would be too dissimilar.

In fairness Nestlé and Mars (M&M) as mainstream chocolate manufacturers are nowhere near as bad as the even more popular Hersheys, how on earth Hersheys is so popular in the US I do not know, it tastes more like sugared wax than chocolate for sure.

the irony of Brits criticising American teeth.

this is more likely to make you fat though.

Buyterfimgers are vile. I didn't have my specs on and.bought some thinking they were honeycomb. I was neaRoy I'll as I loathe peanut butter lol

In Tesco Express' that have a small American food section they are currently doing the Butterfinger bars at 60p

Not in my local - and Americans don't know what chocolate is (The FDA changed the legal definition of chocolate back in 2007 - which allows for the use of artificial sweeteners) What we know as chocolate here in the UK/Europe differs greatly from the FDA definition...

I did also post on here before about the ingredients of a Hersey bar - they use the same chemical as found in vomit to "pasturize" the milk used in it's manufacture (look it up for yourself http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butyric_acid)

Butterfingers are the best chocolate bar ever! Yummy

I bought a Butterfinger the other day - 30p! Shame it turned out to be vile..... oO

Butterfingers are quite sickly, Baby Ruth's are not bad. Personally, I love 'Oh Henry' bars and paydays too. Not a bad price for Baby Ruth bars though. Might stop by and grab a few. Thanks OP

They also had "100 Grand" bars in my B&M yesterday. It looked boring so didnt buy it.

For having such a terrible name it deserves to not sell anyway.
