Always end up throwing away loads of the Quality Street sweets at the end as nobody likes them.

Don't start me salivating! One of my best presents last Christmas was a little bag with just orange and strawberry creams from my mum.

Tescos have had Cadbury Heroes at £5 for a while. They are not in a tin anymore they come in a box which is the equivalent size of a tin but you can find them along with the other tins.

I've been trying to get hold of a tin of Toblerone Minis, you can't get those for love nor money at the moment..

Looks like it's instore only, still showing £10 online. Plus there's an add on the 'instore offers' page

Christmas just would not be the same with a big tin of chocolates. Stock up now for the festive season.

I noticed this, however, Morrisons are selling Heroes in tins as per normal. Not old stock either as the expiry date was the same. Anyway. give me the tin anyday... contrary to some opinions I believe this is actually better for the environment than the paper box as this won't be hitting the dustbin at all!

Sorry must have missed them, still a great price even though they are now probably my lease favourite of the lot.

Has anyone else noticed that they are not as good as they used to be? I remember the molds of the chocolate and the foil wrappers being a bit better nicer. Just thrown together now.

The hard toffees never get touched in my house.

I went into Sainbury's this morning to get a tin at £4 after seeing the advert on the tv and was told it wasn't them advertising at £4 .it was Morrisons, This is not true. They are selling them at £5 in the city centre store in Leeds. I left the store without buying them. Am thinking of ringing the store now to complain.
#36
Have rung Sainsbury's after my last post to complain and they have changed the price to £4 in their store now. They apologised. Asked for a tin to be saved for my til tomorrow and they have done so , so will get some afterall. (And I think we prefer these to Roses now).
#37
Loads left at the new Sainsburys in Biddulph (North Staffs) if anyone wants some :)
#38
a small 400g tin of Quality Street sells for 12-15 € in France and it's viewed as "fancy"

This is a great price and the sweets are nice

I'm buying some as I am going on holiday in Spain in a couple of months and these are GREAT for presents outside UK

Thanks for the heads up OP!
Bought a tin last night in the hope it might last, as it would make a good present for someone.

They really need to seal them better, the sellotape around the seal literally fell off in my hands, which left me in a bit of a predicament as to what to do with all those chocolates ;)
