I remember when these were 4p a pack - to my shame !

Anyway - works out about 16p ish for a packet of Polo's - which doesn't seem to bad.

The £1land ones don't taste the same as the normal ones as they are not the same - does anyone agree with me here?

As for 4p I can remember them being 8p but never 4 lol, heat added!

I couldnt tell u coz i never bought any :-) i just seen them in the window i have never actually been in that shop its not the large poundland its one of those £1 stores.

The Poundland mints were imported from Indonesia: there was a story about it in the Mirror

Yep you're right they were always sticky. I bought mine from the local offy on the way home from brownies. And 2p was enough to make a phonecall in the phonebox! Good old 70's! :)
