Wow. I see you can collect your grocery order at a designated store - would they correct the price on collection if it's a misprice?
#4
I will be sick if I see more of these - we got 7 tins for xmas!

I just tried and when I added 2 in my basket, it shied double the price. Also their t&c's state the normal : Prices quoted are always estimated for a variety of reasons listed below, but you will always be charged the in-store price on the day of delivery or collection. You have the right to return any product with the driver or directly to the branch if you have any issues with price(s) charged and we will refund the amount that you have been charged for that product.

Good deal if it goes thru, especially for store collection (altho none near me :-(

If the offer ends today you need to buy instore. Waitrose fulfil online orders instore, and put them through the store's tills so you get the same prices and offers that you would shopping there yourself. That means if the offer expires at the end of today and you place an online order, if it's not put through the tills by the store staff today (and most likely it won't be) you won't get the benefit of the offer. There should be a disclaimer on their website about this somewhere. I think Tesco and Sainsbury work the same way.

NB Waitrose's online grocery service ISN'T the same as Ocado's (that's a separate company that happens to sell Waitrose goods) so doesn't have the same pricing policy. With Ocado the price you pay is the price on the website at the time you order.

I've just been to my local Waitrose and got two tins of McVitie's biscuits that were both half price and BOGOF; I think they have started marking down their Xmas stock before the pre-Xmas offer was due to finish..

I have the problem living in a city of BRISTOL and not being able to collect or get the items collected from any of the 3 stores... It sucks :(

Worse tin of the lot. Roses and Heros have got much better the last few years and celebrations are also up there (bar the Caramels, Fudges and Mars bars). Always got bucket loads of them soft fondant types that no-one ever eats in QS. Will be staying away from these :p

Good price if you like QS though, added heat cos of price.

2 for 1 isn't working for me! Also I get an error message saying I need to buy £50 worth of goods to checkout. Any ideas please?

I got 2 tins of "Lack of" Quality Street - took out the purple, two green and the orange crunch chocs and gave the rest of the 2 tins to someone else as a booby prize. Quality Street really is rubbish.

wished I got this at two for one, but still got at only £3.65 on Friday at Holloway
