My mum keeps calling these 'hellos'.........really, she does... :|

She also calls the legendary rock singer, 'Meat Loaf'........Beefeater.

......man, I could write a book....

edit - should have added that we're scottish, so 'cheerio' means something here...

I ordered this deal online on Thurs, 2 for £2. They only delivered one box, so when I phoned customer services to complain they refunded me the price of one box £1.97, so I therefor got one box of Cheerios for 3p!
I`m not telling everyone to phone up customer services to complain to scam a box of Cheerios!

Ps, I`m Scottish.......Cheerio!

That's amazing. Reminds me of the time my dad called KFC "McColonel Kentucky". Also an incident with my Mum back when DVD's were new and we'd rented one, she comes out with "don't forget to rewind it before you take it back to the video store!".

Good times :)

ok - continuing, the "don't really understand / getting mixed up" theme...

I work in construction. Several years ago when faxes were just starting to find their way on to sites, a project manager I worked with wanted to fax some confidential information.

In order to ensure that the information was not seen at the other end by people that it was not intended for, his solution was to put the letter in an envelope and fax it. :|

Now that is the God's honest truth.
