I'm sorry, I can't see Orange letting a site that is 'not related' to them -
1. run their accessory shop - linked from their actual site
2. use their branding, colours etc - the website looks exactly like the orange website.
Orange may not own it, and at no point did I say they did - but it is more than evident to me that they are insome way related, even if it is just a 'franchise' sort of affair.

related doesn't really mean anything
perhaps they are just affiliates but either way the point is you wont be able to get any customer sevice off orange for these items. thats the main point.
btw tesco entertainment isn't run by tesco.

There were a lot of discussions on this subject here.

Orange is not related to this site, they probably have a contract in which 20:20 supplies accessories and phones for them. Orange as a company is not a phone supplier, it is a service provider.

The Orange branding can be used if the owner of the brand allows you to do that. It is the same as when you go in shops like Phone4U and you see the Orange logo near the phone.

If you want more proof, phone Orange and try to ask them about any of the offers or if you will nto receive your order try to phone them to complain.

Most of the people here had bad experience with this company. Sometimes you will get an order confirmation and you will wait for your order to be delivered which never happens. If you phone them they will just hang up the phone, if you will email them you will never get a reply...

Also postage is not free so it would be nice if you could update the description in the title to reflect that....

its not run by orange its an associate , just as sainsbury entertanment is not run by them ( the hut i think for sainsbury)
yes the normally charge postage and yes just cos it says in stock does not mean you will get it , i have to be fair recied one order but the rest have been not sent as they run out of stock and do not tell you unless you chase then

overall if you really need something you may be lucky and get it , but unsually if its a bargain then they will have all, gone by the time you place your order

Well, the deal I posted is for netbook sleeves - and it would seem it's turned into peoples own opinions of what 'related' means. Make your own minds up lol.
All I posted what I as a consumer 'thought' when visiting the website.
The £2 postage was added to the description a while ago and I have updated the title.

for people who want to buy anything from them I would like to point out a paragraph from their T&C

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the goods ordered are not available, you will be notified by e-mail (or by other means if no e-mail address has been provided) and you will have the option either to wait until the item is available from stock or to cancel your order. Any orders placed by you will be treated as an offer to purchase the goods or services from us and we have the right to reject such offers at any time. You acknowledge that any automated acknowledgment of your order which you may receive from us shall not amount to our acceptance of your offer to purchase goods or services advertised on the Website. The conclusion of a contract between you and us will take place when we (i) debit your credit or debit card or (ii) despatch the goods to you or commence the services, whichever is the earlier.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing or ordering from the Website.

just wondering how many times will their database sold...

Is this the same company dante?
Link to 2020mobile
If it is then this extract seems to clear it up?

'Authorised parnter' seems to be the term to use.

'Vendors and Products
Authorised distribution for the leading vendors of mobile products and technologies
As one of Europe’s leading distributors of mobile handsets and accessories, 20:20 Mobile Group is an authorised partner for most of the leading manufacturers in the mobile industry. During our company’s long association with these globally important vendors, 20:20 Mobile has built up a level of trust and intimacy that permits us to operate as a fundamental enabler of their downstream supply chains.'
They employ over 1200 people and have annual sales of £1.2 billion - doesn't strike me as the sort of company who would be sending out fakes etc?
but who knows, I am surprised though, if the number of people who've posted on here is a true reflection of overall standards - how on earth do they manage to stay partners?

yep that would clear up the things. Still think that if you would have any problems with them Orange would just redirect you to them and would not do anything about it...

Orange Accessories Are a Really Really Bad Company

Well despite the complaints about them Revoo would suggest otherwise... 83% would be happy to buy there again.

I remember ordering the Homeplugs last time there were on here, no communication from them regarding delivery, and they were never received, but not charged for either. They only told me they were out of stock and would never come into stock after I contacted them.

The Orange Logo in the top left hand corner is a dead giveaway.

FWIW I think this shop is very good.
And last time they failed to deliver the product, I got a 200% refund i.e. double my money back.
#24
does anyone still buy stuff from here after the infamous 8 things for £8 each fiasco?

20 : 20 Mobile have the stock and distribute it but Orange get a cut of course, But I'm surprised Orange allow there name to be associated with such a bad company

only skimmed the comments here, thought worth putting what I know into the mix. Just to start off with that I've ordered twice in the past, happy with both items (cheap bluetooth GPS box and a cheap phone).
I actually called Orange customer services/sales last year regarding a business query and aside mentioned I wanted to get a cheap phone on the accessories site and he didn't seem to have access to the item/info on the Orange accessories site, and he advised I could buy he phone from a supermarket (which seemed odd advice but then made sense if the site wasn't operated by Orange). 20:20 was the name of the company that took the card payment on the bank statement, and it seemed to me at the time after receiving the products that it was a separate company and nothing to do with Orange. I think I also remember seeing accessories for HTC phone on the site, which at that time (a few years ago) I thought was odd as Orange never sold HTC branded phones, and these accessories referred to HTC specific model numbers, not the Orange branded phone models they were compatible with.

Sorry i'm a bit rubbish but small print is my game and as previously noted the rationale of the use of Orange's IP meant curiosity got the better of me oO . Here' my tuppence - read the promotions bit if you are sad like me!.

"This promotion is operated by 20:20 Mobile (UK) Limited, Weston Road, Crewe, CW1 6BU who operate the Website on behalf of Orange."

NB I have used before, delivery a bit long but apart from that all fine. Heat.
