did a google search and there's lots of negative reviews about this product. and netgear has been having a lot of bad press in general anyway. would rather have a tp-link or asus product.

I always take reviews with a pinch of salt. Often people don't know how to use a product and give a review without understanding how it functions. At the end of the day if it doesn't work as described your entitled to a refund. Amazon have great customer service so I will be trying it out.

Wireless adapters are notorious for getting bad reviews from people who blame them for bad wifi caused by the router, ISP or slow computer. Also on this amazon product you have reviews for 6 different products under 1 rating. I have this adapter and it does the job fine - I needed one with a fat antenna and extension cable because the edimax one I had wasn't getting a strong enough signal.

I found this device caused problems for my USB 2.0 wireless mouse receiver. After changing the Netgear A6210 adaptor to USB 2.0 mode, my wireless mouse was working. All the USB ports on my computer are USB 3.0
