If you buy one of these make sure you get the V3, not the V2. Externally they look the same, V2/ V3 is on the bottom of the unit. I know that the V3 does WPA2 (not listed in the spec above), don't know about the V2.

I've been using the Netgear DG834GT for a long time now and I love it. So far it has been utterly reliable and is very easy to configure. I don't know the difference from the DG834G but, it can't be too much. :-D Recommended!

You can pick this router up for £35 brand new on fleabay. As for the USB adapter mine wasnt very reliable, prone to overheating so dont use it anymore.

The G model is quite old now.

Version 3 has the latest and much better softwear. It was V1 & V2s which a few people had probs with.

dont know exactly why, but even net gear web site says that you need version 3 to be compatable with vista and they built the thing....:giggle:

You're probably refering to the firmware, as the current firmware for the V3 is V4.01.30
