Probably better taking that out since it's a null statement. Netgear have been bunging in different adsl modems into each revision of this router.
This version uses a Conexant chip for the modem. Should be worth researching before diving in to buy how it performs with your phone line conditions and ISP.

Hmm ... youve got me thinking now. I wonder which is the best router on the market for o2/be users. Want to spend around £40-50 though

Depends on your line stats. I'm stuck using the o2 box at the moment since my dg834gt is crashing very often now (probably a bad capacitor).

The broadcom chips are said to perform the best on BE/O2. The bebox/o2box all use broadcom and are made by Thomson.

I like my dg834gt, so I might go hunting for capacitors to see if it fixes it otherwise just buy another rebranded Sky box (has to be the white model).

This is a great G router.

However cold from me as it is cheaper @ PC World. (£31.60)...

not sure it's the exact same one, but looks the same as one we got at work from an alternative telephone supplier, it was crap, and turned out to be the reason the fax didn't work properly ( despite only sharing a line with the usual adsl splitter, fax wasn't routed thru this). besides, there must be cheaper available???, change supplier &get a free one!
