i have a belkin g+ mimo and have 2 xboxes connected dwnstairs - the furthest (2 rooms away) suffers pretty bad connection problems due to the signal strength - can anyone tell me if this would improve this or would i be wasting my money trying. any help would be appreciated :)

The money would be better spent on homeplugs or long ethernet cables.

If this was supported by DD-WRT, I'd get to use as a bridge, but I think I'm going to go with the Powerline plugs.
