How do you think this will fair with the terrible BT Home Hub 4??

WiFi Extenders are a hit and miss!

You are better off with a seperate Access Point Really.

I'm lost, what do you mean separate Access Point?

Ordered, thanks OP been thinking about getting something like this for a while now.

I've took a gamble on it. It's got the WPS button so it should be a breeze to set up.

I just wish I could get fibre to where I've moved to then I could get my Apple network back up and running. Stupid BT :-)

Take the Home Hub 4, put it in the oven or beat it to death, then call BT, get a Home Hub 5 to replace it with FOC. You will most likely not need the extender with the 5.

paid £20 for this a couple of weeks back and its great. It boosts the signal (ground floor)from 2nd floor to top floor with full signal

Have had generally poor results with these - powerline has always worked much better for me, and you can still plug a wireless access point or router into one at the other end.....

Ghengis... And much is the price of that setup compared to this?

Had one of these for while now enables upstairs rooms the same wifi as down... i thought it was really easy to set up just pressing buttons if I remember rightly and would highly recommend if in some parts of your house reception is poor

Came yesterday. Works a treat. Gives full signal to the 1st and 2nd floor when there was absolutely no signal before. Chuffed.

Same as others. WPS button on the Sky Router connected first time and I now get a nice strong signal in the outer reaches of my house. Brick walls and wireless signals don't get on too well so pleased with the outcome.
