lol surely no one has a home network this large!
lol the 2293 is a misprint I think it should be RRP £293 as these can be found for under £300 all over the place

Netgear switches are pretty poor. You'd be better picking up the equivilent HP for a few more quid.

Cisco make the best, HP are at the same league...

If you want the next best (cheaper alternative) NEVER BUY NETGEAR, GO BUY A FREECOM one... better for the money!
If you needed that many ports you'd be better off buying multiples of the earlier deal for U.S. Robotics 16 port GB switch that allows speeds of 10, 100 or 1000 with two uplink (fibre?) for under £70.
