Not so much of a great Dabs deal as you can get it from eBuyer for £119.99 without a code and free shipping.
But not many people like ebuyer, Just another option :)
119.99 on Amazon and can be cheaper through flubit
what's the difference between this and the below kind of NAS? looking to get a Sonos system up and running soon. Thanks

The ReadyNAS does not come with any Hard Drives installed (i.e Diskless), you have to buy these yourself. The My Cloud includes a 2tb Hard Drive so you do not have to buy any thing else, it works straight out of the box.

If you think 2tb is enough storage space for you then its ideal (if its just music you are playing rather than movies then 2TB would be more than enough storage). On the other hand with the ReadyNAS you can put in (say) a spare 500mb drive you may have lying around now and add more drives as and when your storage needs increase - you could have upto 4x 4TB drives for example giving 16TB of storage.

The ReadyNAS will also be able to provide RAID backup should a drive fail so that you don't lose any data.

I had one of these last year and it played up when setting it up after i finally did get it working i set the power saving and turned it off allowing for wake on lan, the next day i came to my PC and sent a magic packet and the NAS wouldnt fire up so i went to the device and tried to manually tun it on but no matter what i did it was dead. I returned it to Dabs they tested it and found it was dead and i got a refund, so it lasted a couple of days and loads of my time, you have to wonder how such a sell sorted NAS can sell for £120. The reason is is they a pile of steam **** and should be avoided. Sped the extra and get a synology or the like which is much more functional software wise.
