Home networking drive, on offer at the moment with a free extra 1TB drive (by redemption) totalling 2TB total storage.

NETGEAR ReadyNAS Duo RND2110 - NAS - 1 TB - Serial ATA-150 - HD 1 TB x 1 - Gigabit Ethernet
The ReadyNAS Duo RND2110 is perfect for homes with more than one computer. Unlike a USB drive, the ReadyNAS connects to the network and is simultaneously accessible via all connected Windows or Macintosh computers. If there is a broadband Internet connection and a home router, the ReadyNAS can be set up to provide secure access to all the stored files remotely via the Internet.

Looks good if you're in the market for this kit

the old deal was £129.99 with 2TB Drive so not too hot :(

That ebuyer deal ran for about 1 hour - it hardly had a chance to get HOT before expiring - fantastic for those of us who got one; but not really fair to compare other deals against an abnormal price like that..

This deal is cold because it's cheaper at loads of places; e.g. Novatech

The best price for this was £157.99 before Christmas -

not even cheap!!

novatech are £179.99 for same deal
I bought a ReadyNAS RND2110 with a free 1 Tb HDD (ie same as this) in November for £158.

Even with the VAT increase, this is expensive and with the release of newer NAS from Netgear, you would expect these to be getting cheaper. oO

And Kikatek (where I bought mine from) are £175 with the option of free delivery if you don't mind waiting

Still expensive compared to November.

The sharecentre seems better, and BT are offering a deal on it at the moment
