This wont work on cable or ADSL broadband, it will only provide wirless connectivity between PC's. Internet connectivity will have to be supplied by a modem connected to this router.

hope this helps.

I have one of these.

For cable use - just plug the supplied (by TW/NTL) cable modem into the back.

For ADSL use - you need a standalone ADSL modem with ethernet out e.g. http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/48448

According to the description this is a router so it will work with cable broadband- what you've described is a wireless access point.

This wont work with cable broadband as you have to have a cable modem. All this does is route network traffic thats why its called a router.

If you're with a cable provider, you will have a cable modem therefore this device will work with a cable connection.
