New pack size, as usually you get a 6, 10 or 24 can pack. Normal price £3.99, but with a saving of £1, it makes the price 25p a can. Which i think is one of the best deal around now, as i havent seen any better deals in asda/Tesco recently.

I just spent £28 on a 24 cans of US coke from American Soda. I had been gagging to try it for it ages, Apparantly it tastes so much better than the UK version......it doesn't it tastes exactly the same. Anyone want to buy a can of coke only £1.48 each.

its cheaper in coop buy 1 get 1 free and comes up at 2.89

When i was over there i didnt notice any difference in taste.

Did you buy it whilst you were over there, or have you ordered it?

Iv got no co-op near me, although there is a sommerfields which i believe is now owned by co-op, so maybe they have that deal on there.

Can i ask how many cans are in the pack on offer at co-op?

I tend to only buy the packs that offer points.

My local take away serves american coke 65p a can same price as the uk stuff i assume they just got a batch of it cheap, but id say it tastes more like pepsi than coke... anyway this is completely off topic...not a bad price though so voted hot.

HOT - I saw this in my local Morrisons today, was just about to post it on Hotdeals.

Whoever bought the American stuff, its not worth it - its a different recipe but its not as good as the UK one I don't think. Pepsi seems more popular over there, and their coca cola seems to be closer to Pepsi.

I can't really remember, it was 4 years ago now when I last tasted the American coke. Just hope you get your moneys worth!

how long is this offer on for?

Pretty sure the 6 packs of Coke will be BOGOF everywhere in the coming weeks.
They do it every year just before Xmas. So should be around £2.50 for 12.
Waitrose did BOGOF a few weeks ago. Now no longer.

As for American Coke. I believe its all down to the sweeteners. Soft drinks in America tend to be sweetened using fructose syrup. which taste a little sweeter. hence the comparison to Pepsi.
Coke in the UK still uses sugar. Luckily they are not going down the line of most other brands and using the horrid tasting aspartame.

Given that Pepsi is 6 cans for £1 in a load of places (but that this isn't Pepsi), can't make up my mind if this is hot or not...
#12
^ Exactly. I always buy 6 cans pepsi/7 up for £1 from lidl.
