These are very good at blocking out the light... HOWEVER we have major problems using them in the bright nights and in a west facing bedroom as the direct sunlight hitting the blackout blind generates a tremendous amount of heat. Not great when trying to keep a baby's room cool during the summer.

Make sure it's big enough for the window! Too small for ours so didn't work, kept it to take on hols

My ones are very secure. Slightly wet the suckers first before applying. None of mine have fallen.

My window also gets a lot of sunlight. At first the heat generated from these blinds made the room smell of plastic. Now I keep one of the windows open and I no longer have that problem.

I considered installing proper blackout blinds but they were too expensive and to be honest we may only need these for a months before it goes dark early at night and later in the morning. I like the way there is flexibility with this product and yes it's small eough to take away for holidays and overnight stays.

I believe he meant the eye mask for yourself... but then the earplugs are needed too.

I have this and would not know what I would do without it! I am pretty sure I only paid 20 on amazon too. Mine is up all the time and so far has stayed up! Been about 3months now so I say it sticks just fine! Heat Added

These are totally awesome! My son is a very poor sleeper and would otherwise wake at sunrise without one of these. We've had one of these for about 3 or 4 years. It is used every day and is still in great condition. These blinds are adjustable to fit most sized windows and stick to the window with suction cups so you get very little light coming around the sides of the bind. Bargain at £20.

We have the original and the one after that, what does the 2014 version add? The second version had elastic you can pull to gather the blind ...

We use these when travelling. At home we have blackout blinds and curtains which do the job. The blinds aren't that expensive, and dead easy to fit.
