wheres the money off pls? looks normal price

This is a brand new product line, not a discounted older model and its a pretty good price being half way between the 20" WS and the 24" WS model.

MikeT, you seem to know a lot about Dell - I need a 17" monitor which pivots to portrait position - the 1707FP gets good reviews - do you happen to know if anywhere sells them cheaper than Dell itself?

Thanks, you have just made my job a lot harder, am trying to find a decent 22" Tft, didn't need any more to add to the list. You may or may not know but do you know who the panel manufacture is?

I have a glass xerox at the moment... two major issues... and hence the reason for replacing...

1. The glass reflects so bad its like looking in a mirror, its so hard to focus on the image!

2. It burns in after about 20mins of a static image! way too quick.

Tho i am loving the look of the stand on the glass one! shame the non glass isn't as styled!

Non glass doesnt have DVI and neither support HDCP!

I would love to get one of these.

What sours the whole thing is that this monitor is only $299 in the US store. It seems Dell is ripping off UK customers.
