Ok, cold voters.
Why?

Amazon have a great warranty even if it is from France

puzzled by this too, same thing for €10 more but with pretty pictures painted on it is hot but this is cold.

That I can understand getting hot, it being a special edition thing that people snap up and sell for profit.
But this is the cheapest way of getting a new 3DS XL that I can see, sods law just after I have purchased one

Puzzling me too, where are people buying a New 3DS XL from for less than this? I'm not seeing any links so far.....
#5
may be a silly question but what's the difference between uk n France edition?

1. The Switch is out in March. This will probably cause a 3ds sell-off fest, to clear warehouse room and get money while you can.
2. A New 3DS XL was £105 2 days ago and a few months ago it was anywhere from £110-130. Even £140 is fairly regular.
3. People don't tend to like ordering from foreign sites at the best of times.
4. It's only saving £15 when you can buy it on Amazon.co.uk.
5. Once you sell the games, you can get a Ps4 Bundle for a similar price.

Has it been cheaper? Yes.
Will it be cheaper? Yes.
New console coming out to replace it? Yes.
Incredible, unmissable deal? No.

Conclusion = Wait for a better deal and save your money. In a nutshell why it's getting cold.

I expect a big January sell off of these, once more Switch details, like pricing, is released. If the price of the Switch is low (£199-250) I expect shops to sell these off like crazy.

And as far as I can see, it is THE cheapest way of owning a New 3DS XL at the time of posting.
Is that not how this site works? Vote on current prices, not what was/might be?

Good price at the moment, was hoping cheaper. I bagged an orange one on preorder for £155.

That's a limited edition that saves you £80+.

This is a normal edition which saves you £15.

£15 Saving
£80 Saving.

Hmmmmmmmmm

No one votes based on "current" pricing, when that pricing is so volatile.

People only know past prices. So they vote based on past prices. Which this does poorly against.

The "Current" price changes on a day to day basis. This could be £40 cheaper tomorrow.

Is it a "deal" on this very day, at this very second? Sure. But no one wants to buy something then regret it the very next day.

Is it metal or plastic?

That logic negates the whole ethos of HUKD.
At the time of finding a price, if it is the cheapest price currently available, it's a deal. You can not predict what tomorrow may bring.
I agree no-one likes buying anything then seeing it cheaper at a later date, be it one day -one week- or one month.
It's happened to me on numerous occasions, I still vote hot if it is warranted.

By your logic you think that the NES Classic Mini (or whatever the **** it's called) being sold for £30-£50 more than RRP is automatically a good deal since it's not currently available at RRP elsewhere?

Well yes, I wouldn't personally pay over the odds just to get something.
But there's many who feel they have to do just that to make sure their precious offspring get this years must have items .
If it is the cheapest price available at time of posting, regardless of past/future/over inflation, then it's got a place on here.
All my humble opinion though, naturally.

New console coming out to replace it? Yes.
“Thanks to our software, the 3DS hardware is still growing. So that business still has momentum. Certainly rather than being cannibalized by the Switch, we think the 3DS can continue in its own form.”

How did that go?
