They changed them today. I feel lucky because I bought all the ones i wanted from the previous deal yesterday too when they were still up! The old list is no longer valid - their prices are back up.

The £4.99 games are:

Crysis Warhead
Battlefild 2142 Deluxe
Godfather II -* COMES WITH FIRST GODFATHER GAME FOR FREE!*
NFS: Carbon
Command and Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath
Black and White 2: Battle of the Gods
The Sims 2: Deluxe
Madden NFL 08

Enjoy

edit: thanks t4v! Don't forget cokezone points!
edit 2: Can't get cokezone voucher anymore, only thing left is a measly "£5 off" Burnout Paradise. Not very helpful since it's full price again.

Don't forget the 20 Cokezone points for a £10 EA Store voucher so for £5 worth of Coke you can get 2 of the above and 20 cans :)
#2
Quidco tracked for me for the last deal, despite not spending anything! This is a good deal.
#3
Yup, quidco tracked for me too when i bought three games yesterday. In fact, it said that I spent £13.50 when I only spent £11.24 or something, so i ended up with about 20p more anyway! Not bad at all!

Not available and i dont think you'll be able to get it for free. I am sure there will be a clause where it has to be above the credit otherwise tons of games cud be given for free
suspended#5
Will it play Crysis?
#6
I take it that the voucher can only be used onece as I picked up a few titles last time they had the offer on or is it a different voucher code?
#7
once downloaded can you burn it to a DVD or re-download?

just about to setup on windows 7...
#8
I'm sure Crysis Warhead will be borderline unplayable on my current laptop, but tempting to hide in the reserves :)

Actually got some amazing visuals out of the original release after several hours of custom tweaks but didn't play the game much in the end. Bargain for people with monster performance setups though.

You can redownload. There was a whole shebang a while about download limits but there's no more mention of it anymore, it explicitly says that you can redownload on the site.

That is partly true. They have certainly ditched their ridiculous 'extended download period' premium rates. Technically they still claim a 12 month availability, but despite that it sounds like you can argue the hell out of it if you have paid and need access again in the future.

I think EA are just covering their backs in case everything goes wrong at their end, don't think they are trying to screw people out of their purchases.

Nearly 3 years later I've barely played C&C3, bought RA3 a couple of weeks ago... yet still tempted by Kane's Wrath.

There's two vouchers:

EA Store UK Vouchers: 25% - VoucherCodes.com25%, 20% - HotUKDeals20%

If the vouchercode one doesn't work then try the HUKD one :)

Can't knock Warhead for under 4 quid. Pre-ordered BF1943 too!

Thanks op!

Sadly the 20-point £10 vouchers are "sold out" on cokezone.
However, this idea did work last time (I'm still slowly getting through my 40 cans of cola :p ); and if anyone's still got one of those vouchers, if they couldn't decide what to 'buy' with it, it should work with the new £5 games!

I'm still waiting to find out if I can run 1943, but it's a great price with the discount. Played the trial on 360 months ago but I'm useless at online shooters with a pad so I will just get angry with it. As a lefty the controls are particularly irritating (and there's no custom option). Can't believe it has been delayed so badly.

Daft question time.

Is Crysis warhead a standalone expansion?

(Had the Max edition some but sold before I got my new laptop.)
#17
Crysis warhead is it's own game . you do not need crysis 1 to play it.

Thanks very much, taken peoples advice and bought Crysis Warhead and pre ordered Battlefield 1943

For anyone unfamiiar with this method (ie parents/grans buying for kids) these are downloadable games,That means the game is sent along the wires to your computer. You DON'T get a box to wrap up.

I actually emaild EA customer service after I bought the games last time and this is what they said:

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

I'm really sorry for the delay in response and apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result. I would like to inform you that you can download your games multiple times for one year. Please be informed that Windows 7 isn't officially supported for our games. However, You can backup you digital copy on a disk to use later. You can copy the download data to a disk and can use the disk to install the game later. You would however require the registration code for installation and would also need to login to EA DM to play the game.

Metacritic score on the 60s. Seems to be an average game, but you can get both Godfather and Godfather II for £3.74 so it's worth a punt :)

Also... is this normal? It's confusing the heck out of me. Is it a glitch or some sort of extra disc or something?

Yes, that second one, I believe, is the second disk that comes with the game, it has Crysis Wars on it (the multiplayer component of Crysis)

Well... not really a fiver - £3.74, so even better! Plus, my quidco tracked at 45p per game, so works out at £3.29 per game which you'r easily getting your moneys worth considering the entertainment factor from multiplayer.

Great Deal!

BUT...

I bought MOH:Airborne yesterday, downloaded it and have had the most terrible time trying to install the damn thing! It seems theres a bug/problem with the Physix engine or firewall thing.

I tried re-downloading the game and install everything from scratch but no solution. Ive searched countless forums for a solution, tried em all, and still nothing has worked 4me. :-( After reading many topics on countless forums It seems I am not the only person who has this problem with the game and so I do suggest buying another game (Crysis!) instead or do the humane thing and stick with STEAM :?:?:-(:-(
