We knew this before ordering and would still recommend, it is good value for money, if you are keeping the tablet in the case permanently then it can be adapted as others have suggested to ensure the tablet does not slide out.
This one is suitable for an Archos 70, I would avoid adaptors that come with cable as the is more than enough cable on the case connections itself to reach any side of your 7" tab, without buying an adaptor with cable too,

Great stuff .. thanks ordered one. It is for my Dad :)
He had the Archos and this case before Xmas and was pleased but dissapointed about the mini keyboard not fitting !

Real shame it does not have a micro usb connector as the adapter is a bit of a pain to carry around, not fitting in the case. However if your going to get one, buy an angled connector, if not it will stick out the side a lot.
I am thinking of chopping the old end off and soldering a on a micro connector as this will be much more convenient
this happens to my brothers one too? its pretty useless!!! some are just faulty perhaps?

It was happening with me - a Dell USB keyboard was fine in the Archos, the mini keyboard was fine on the PC but the mini/Archos in combination just made the keyboard autorepeat and the letters just wouldn't stop.
Solution - (I found on another forum so no credit due) : I plug the mini keyboard into an old unpowered 4 port USB hub which then plugs into the OTG adaptor. Tried this morning and perfect. Only drawback is that I now have to take the hub and the OTG adaptor with me (but I would be takign the charger anyway)
Hope this help

My sons worked fine, but awkward to carry around the adapter as no room in the case. Eventually Bit the bullet and chopped of the end of cable and connected to suitably chopped micro cable and worked fine. I am just waiting for an angled micro (hopefully angled in the right direction as shown in the picture) as this should make a very tidy job allowing the keyboard to stay plugged in without too much sticking out.
