If only they did the screen upgrade to hi res matte for the 15" MBP and would change the drive for a 7200 RPM one I'd buy it right now. Don't know if I could live with the gloss screen.

Is it easy to change a HDD on one of these and does it invalidate the warranty? (Not that they ever break. ;)).

oh they break alright - that I do know but as to the ease of replacing them, I paid someone so pretty easy though costly. Sneezing on an Apple product pretty much invalidates its warranty these days. That's why you have to pay them to do these things for you.

Upgrading the HD and RAM only voids the warranty if you break something. Seems fair enough to me. It's easy on these, just unscrew the bottom and everything is laid out in front of you.

If you are okay with 120gigs of storage, I'd get the ssd (OCZ Vertex 2E), sells for 160gbp in amazon... but, it makes your computer fly... check out vids in youtube, you will knw what I mean.

fantastic bit of kit bought one off dixons for £878 Inc quidco . quality is on another level after bining my xps m1530 (3 hard drive failures and eventual motherboard failure in 2 years) , instant wake from sleep is cool, safari browsing also very impressive.
