To be fair though the people on the gadget show do come across as clueless at times.

Seems to me excatly the same as the 4th gen but with a gimmicky VGA quality camera and radio. My advice is to get the 4th Gen and buy the radio attachment if you need a radio. Does anybody need a camera on an ipod when theres real camera's and mobile phones for that ? Chances are if you have an ipod you'll have a mobile with a better than VGA camera.

8Gb ones are also £105 on Amazon at the moment.

If you're really after a bargain check out this deal for £79 8Gb 4G's at Toy's R Us.

Got 3 myself this week for the kids Xmas presents.

It's hardly a gimmick when you see how good the quality is, how small it is and how great it is at recording in the dark. The effects are pretty darn good too. I've not seen a mobile with as good of a video camera as the iPod Nano.

They don't know what they're talking about if they rated it as poor - have a go on one yourself and see how good it is.

I got the radio attachment for my 4th Gen but I found it was terrible the signal kept going.

It's 'you're' and I do use it. So, err, there?

Make sure you back up your ipod as this 5th Gen has a high chance of crashing, resulting in you losing all your music.
#19
The music doesn't need to be backed up! It's on your computer. What an odd thing to say.
