Stock levels change all the time and I can't see how having to drill down countless times into several colour and sizing combos is mentioning the bleeding obvious, especially as it may save others having to do it themselves, ie, if someone else had already mentioned it it would have saved me the bother.

If that was your intention I suspect you would phrased it something like "Only size 4.5 and 7.5 in stock". But I agree with you that the Amazon web interface is pretty painful at times.

I didn't phrase it like that because it would have been incorrect. At the time there were sizes below 4.5 available and then 7.5 - hence the tiny feet below size 4.5 part, etc.

I guess I just wasn't expecting such pedantry.
