Any particular reason why cold? Hard to find a tablet with 1024x600 IPS screen for this price these days.

The Acer Iconia B1 at £75 after cashback is a much better deal IMO - especially with the dual-core processor.

For just £110 more you get the Nexus7 ... a no brainer, unless this is for the kiddies of course!

    £110 more than £80 therefore £190?
    MrRee
Yes, £190 ..... bargain of the Tablets, I'm sure you would agree!

The Acer doesn't have an IPS screen. That's a deal breaker for me, maybe not for other people.

What can I get for £500.00 more. :p
    MrRee
Yes, very funny ...... what I'm saying is that £110 for 99% of the population is chicken feed ... and, as such, it's very wise to spend that in addition and get a Tablet far, far, far, far, far better.

I'm sure most will agree - and why it's freezing cold.

Well I think most would disagree, you can always spend more and get better

"what I'm saying is that £110 for 99% of the population is chicken feed" oO
Then we definitely need to cut benefit payments. (I am not having a go at people on benefits)

    That's so wrong, it's embarrassing.

Spending more does not always equal better ..... take a relevant example, the iPad mini is not as good as the Nexus 7 - yet costs more.

But, sometimes, spending more really does lift you into a different league ... and in this deal, just £110 more will do just that.

And, come on, you're not kidding anyone ..... £110 is a piddly amount of money, especially looking at what you get.

I am inclined to agree with MrRee about how good the Nexus 7 is compared to other 7 inch tablets. I bought the Versus Touchtab 7 for £49 when Carphone Warehouse had them on offer. The Nexus 7 is so much smoother in operation that the Touchtab feels really sluggish and barely usable.

I know I was lucky to get my Nexus for only £124 from Argos Outlet but it really is in a different league.

I’m not embarrassed, so is there nothing better than the Nexus 7? for more money of course.

Please quantify why you think “£110 for 99% of the population is chicken feed”

    That really is embarrassing.
    MrRee
Are you honestly, truthfully, trying to tell me that £110 is not worth paying for the Nexus 7 over this offering? If you are then there is nothing more I can say to change such a delusion.

The other delusion is that £110 is a lot of money! I'm elderly, but even I realise that £110 is held by all those thinking of buying a Tablet!

I NEVER said the Nexus 7 wasn’t better than the Touchpad 7

And now its “£110 is held by all those thinking of buying a Tablet!” NOT “99% of the population”

To buy the Nexus 7 is £189.00 not £110.
    MrRee
We are talking about people looking to buy a Tablet, of course we are as that is what the deal is we are discussing - and, I maintain that those looking to buy for themselves buy the Nexus 7 and not this .......... and, if you were going to buy this - then decided upon reading my advice - bought the Nexus 7 ... it would cost you £110, not £189. As, of course, I have just saved you wasting £80!

You do seem to be struggling with the logic?

I again ask you to PLEASE enumerate why you think “£110 for 99% of the population is chicken feed”
Are you a politician by chance? As you seem incapable of answering a straight forward question
    MrRee
You have serious issues don't you?

Please state why you think £110 is a lot of money?

I have no issues I just enjoy watching you squirm. £110. Is not a lot of money for me.
And again for the umpteenth time YOU said it now justify it "what I'm saying is that £110 for 99% of the population is chicken feed"
