Rang up Virgin mobile today to see what refurbished (or as new) phones they had and I was told they were doing the Blackberry Curve 8520 for £65 on PAYG (comes to 69.99 with delivery). I think its a good deal for anyone after a cheap blackberry. I myself did not go for it as I'm after an android phone :) I think it comes with all of the original accessories just in an unofficial box. This is not on-line you will have to ring Virgin Mobile. I am already a virgin mobile customer which might make a difference.

You have to call in to order as refurbs are normally not put on their site.

What number did you call on - just called twice on 0845 650 4500. Both advisers I spoke to stated they had no refurbs and best price was £159.99 which included £10 top up.

Just called, they said they were £149, Brilliant.

Try 0800 1839146 or 0800 9522227. Also seems strange that some people are getting it and others aren't maybe it depends on who is dealing with your call?

Just ordered, thanks.

Had to ring twice - first person denied all knowledge of it, Rang straight back and second person found it no problem so it really does depend who you speak to.

Still available, just ordered one.

I've been using this phone for 15 months now, and it is one of the best phoned i have ever owned. The media buttons on the top of the device are especially useful.

For those of you who don't mind a bit of bulk to their handset, check out the Otterbox Defender case... Great stuff!

Hmm personally I'd wait, the new curve is coming out in June so maybe see what happens?

Really good phone if you can live with the screen resolution, to the guy that thinks they will be £40 any time soon dream on.

This is the phone of choice for the teen group due to bbm and as such there are no other alternatives for the price. Can be unlocked for like £2 as it only involves a code being inputed, available from the bay.

This is a good price but the 3g version is better although a lot more expensive compared to this deal.

would the new one be for 69.99 ???

You need to be an existing Virgin mobile customer for this offer to come up on there screen.

BUT if you are only a media custom (ie do not have a current mobile contract) you need to kick up a fuss and they will sell it too you - I have just done it and orded it.

i have no contract or media with them, and they offered it to me, really think it depends on who you get taking the call.

i managed to get it and i dont have anything to do with virgin, i think it depends on who you get

Better to get something like the San francisco
The only thing that used to be going for bbs was the bbm and editing documents etc but now most phone can do that and whats app kills bbm but it's still a decent price

Hi mate, as stated I myself did not buy one and was just wondering what refurbs they had and this is the only one that stood out as they sell them for £159.99 new. Also, could mods lease unexpire as I'm pretty sure its still available.

Hi mate, the numbers are posted on the first page. Try not to say you want a refurb blackberry straight away, just ask what refurbs they have. You might have to try a couple of times.
