The new Bosch kettles are reduced instore Comet to £50. This is the cheepest i have seen them so far. Below is the link for the online one (full price) - expensive kettles, but the last Bosch one i had lasted absolutly ages.

Seems like £69.99 to me. Any discount codes to take it down to the OP price?

Boils in a fraction of the time and will last much much longer.

With its exact four temperature LED control for various drinks plus gloss black and stainless steel finish, the Bosch Styline TWK8633GB kettle boasts brains and beauty. Different hot drinks require different water temperatures for best taste results, e.g. herbal teas, coffee, etc. Fortunately, the TWK8633GB Styline kettle enables you to heat the water to the specific temperature and will even maintain the setting if required. The eco design saves up to 66% energy over a conventional kettle and there's even an acoustic signal to let you know when your water is heated. Pouring is easy too, thanks to the ant-slip soft touch handle. Boil dry and overheat protection, as well as the double wall cool-touch housing also provide extra peace of mind.

I've had two different Bosch kettles, they were both hopeless. Not a make I'd buy again.

I'm sure this is a very good price for the product, but surely the vast majority of people just want a kettle to boil water - and even with this kettle will set the temperature once then leave it. Seems over engineered to me for what it is, though the keep warm facility seems a good idea.

Neither hot nor cold to me

£50 for a kettle can never be hot. The different temperatures thing is hardly going to cost them much to implement. When i drink herbal tea I leave the water for a minute before pouring, invariably someone else is having a different drink at the same time...

Voted hot to **** all the idiots off. I'd buy this if I didn't already have a nice kettle.

Does that mean it isn't really hot?
#15
Hehe. It looks nice and it may save energy but after how long would you break even the cost of the kettle with the energy saved?

These are becoming a fashion item now :)

Only if that fraction is 1/1 - or you'd have a perpetual motion machine.

Can someone tell me how this kettle effectively breaks fundamental laws of physics and saves energy? And it manages to do this and maintains water temperature :|
Must say it is lovely and if I had money to burn (or boil) I would probably buy one because I could. Other than that it is not a hot deal for me.

I went to Comet in Cribbs Causeway Bristol today and they were on the shelf at £69.99.

Make sure you call ahead as the OP must have been very lucky to get at £50 as the Bristol store stated that it should be full price everywhere.
