This will probably get some people saying RRP isn't a deal etc, however I stand by my point that if Apple reduced the iPad RRP to £10, it'd be the hottest deal on here ever.

Anyway, Apple just released a new range of specced up Macbook Pro's. The cheapest is the 13" Macbook Pro Retina only £999

For Example:
Old Model
15" Retina
2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
Turbo Boost up to 3.5GHz
16GB 1600MHz memory
512GB PCIe-based flash storage
Intel Iris Pro Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB GDDR5 memory
£2,199

New Model
15" Retina
Specifications
2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
16GB 1600MHz memory
512GB PCIe-based flash storage
Intel Iris Pro Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB GDDR5 memory
£1,999

Apple also have a 0% finance deal on which is here:

Apple: modern-day masters of planned obsolescence

This is most likely to go very cold (being Apple and possibly that its the new RRP). Thanks for the heads up, in one way i suppose you could say its not a deal (because its just RRP) in another way you could say that it is (if you already wanted one its now become a bit more affordable). Anyway thanks for the heads up even if it just helps out one person its better than nothing.

I will still never understand the stupidity of brand haters. Why hate a brand each one has its own unique style, each one creates great products. I will be honest and say I have a good few apple products but that doesn't mean I hate Windows or Android or Samsung or Dell. I'd still recommend them as they are all good in their own way and no matter how you look at it no two products are identical. Sorry completely irrelevant but its the truth. As I said this is coming from someone that likes apple gadgets but just loves tech in general.

The only thing that is stupid is people queuing three days outside to buy a product that is no better than what they have...

I think you are underselling this deal mate, you can now get a 13" RETINA display MBP for £999. This means around £850 or so with student discount or the various other discounts you can get for working in government etc.

Hot!

£860 at the moment and that includes 3 years warranty and a £60 gift card. The bump up to 8gb on the basic model makes it a far better deal as some people will find 128gb SSD adequate.

for working in government

Is that an oxymoron?

All I'm seeing is £927.60 for the lowest Retina 13" (with student discount). How can I get it lower? :P

That's through NUS Extra discount, which is the same as for university students via the campus network

Are you trying to turn this into an argument? Anyway if you referring to apple here, I agree queuing days before release is a bit extreme but everyone has their own ambition and theirs must be to be first inline. Oddly Samsung was keen to find out why apple has so many people at when they launch devices and asked people what made them come and wait inline for the latest devices. Im sure that every tech company would love to see people so passionate about there products waiting outside for the launch of a new product.

People do crazy things as after all we are humans, but my point was why hat a company there is no point. Every company has its own uniqueness and its own fans. Personally I like all tech companies and I enjoy seeing who's going to bring out what next, intact i like it so much that I do get asked for advice on tech purchases or for help with peoples purchases. It doesn't matter if its Windows Phone or Linux, Dell or Apple. Im not biased and I can usually help no matter what platform it is.

Sorry for the long reply but I'm just saying how it is to me. :)
