As a regular to Costco I must say they have jumped on the brexit bandwagon on non food item with quite steep price rises. It also makes you wonder why you pay 30 a year membership for privilege of paying more for a 20 pack of beer than my local coop.Only thing not stopping me returning card is probably the excellent food .

You just have to think about what you get from there. I wouldn't buy beer from Costco. Not competitive. But as above, quite a lot of other things are.
I regularly buy bottled water (Kirkland) at 40 bottles for £3.50. Tesdaburys sell theirs at around 10 bottles for £2. Savings stack up over the year on that alone. Anything else is a bonus.

I keep the card because I buy bird food which is pretty cheap.

Also like the chicken products.

The fuel is cheap if you have filling station local that would be a good enough reason and the food quality is good

The recent Costco offers haven't been great really.
