  - phone up & ask for cancellation dept - they'll try & keep u by offering you a number of offers - reduced price/half price movies etc.

  Just left sky last week after a year of half price sky and free HD box, Free install! They rand me a few days ago post cancellation with the half price offer, cheekily I said, I only get it if I get a free box!!I didnt realise but the material you record you cannot acce ss after you cancel on your box!

  what did you manage to get off them, half price + HD as before or just half price, ive just cancelled mine as you did but no phone call so far. thanks.

  My Contract is coming to an end, just called sky to cancel and straight way offered 1/2 price for 6 month without any contract and can add sky channel for 1/2 price (if i wish to)

  I phoned them and asked them straight out. This is only for people who have had sky before. I told him I'd never had and he said I couldnt use the code...Simples!

  I just got 50% off for a year for all Sports, Movies etc... worked out to be £47 for full sky package, phone line rental, free overseas calls and broadband.

  Anyway online you can go here fill in details and they call you back. Then just give the code. I filled all in but was customer in 2006 so not sure if I will be able to get it....Will keep you posted.

  i got the letter and just used the code , i was with sky 3 months ago , so you will find that the code as to show on your old account to be able to get it, mine is back on getting 6 mixes for £12.50

  Me too - they did give me 6months half price only on subscription (not hd) but could not get the 12month offer
