HOW IT WORKS
Becoming a member
Becoming a member couldn’t be simpler! Follow these four easy steps and you will be enjoying the benefits of membership in no time.

1.Select your five books
2.Enter your details
3.Select your club
4.Join
Step 1 - Select five books from any category within the site and add to your basket. With prices starting from 99p it maybe hard to choose!

Step 2 - Enter your name, address and required personal details

Step 3 – Select the club that is right for you. Not sure? Click here to find out more information on each club.

Step 4 – Enter your payment details and confirm. Subject to acceptance, you are now a member and you will receive your items within 7-10 working days

For added peace of mind, you’ll enjoy a 10-day home trial once you receive your books. Should you change your mind within 10 days, send the books back. We will cancel your membership and refund your payment.

You will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the item to us. When returning an item/parcel to us we strongly recommend to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. You will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in returning your items

Now that you are now a member, what happens next?
Once you are a member you will continue to receive great discounts, up to 60% off the RRP. All we ask is that you agree to buy a further four books, in addition to your introductory books, over the first 12 months of membership. Once you have ordered your four books you will become a VIP member, meaning even bigger savings on every book you order!

You will receive regular email newsletters from your club, featuring the latest book releases and expert reviews and recommendations from your club editor. You can order online via our members-only club website, and we promise never to send you a book you haven’t ordered.

As soon as you’ve joined the club, you’ll be directed to your club website, where you can log in using your customer number, which will be on your order confirmation, and your postcode as your password.

Visit your club website regularly to make the most of your membership and keep up-to-date with your club offers.

Each to their own but I hate these type of sites.

I've bought loads from here before, nearly all from the 99p bargains section. I don't think I have joined up to any club?
#8
Me too - have just bought some more items and havent joined any club. Must be some site with a similar name.
#9
I have also bought books from here without joining a club. They have some brilliant bargains and don't forget free gift code 55099 and cashback
#10
You dont have to join a club to buy from the site, I havent but i have bought a deal from their deal of the week nearly every week as they are such bargains!
#11
i have bought lots from here without joining but today its not letting me checkout without joining

I just ordered a few items including 3 sets of the peter rabbit books. Came to 8.97. When i went to checkout the total said 2.97 (had the 3 peter rabbit sets in basket but no price for them).. I continued and checked out. Authorised with bank for 2.97.

Looked at my confirmation email and it has the 3 sets of peter rabbit on there at 6.00, says total order was 8.97

But i only confirmed with bank for 2.97

They do this kind of thing often??? Will they not send peter rabbit books now as i've only paid 2.97

OK to anyone who has not yet ordered anything, make sure you order through this site:

http://www.booksdirectbargains.co.uk/

And not the one the OP posted as they are both the same company with the same products, except the one I have posted in this message does not refer to the club version which I'm sure nobody wants to join right now (unless you really want to of course).

Can't get it to work. Not sure if they are now out of stock because it's coming up as £0.00 when I add them and even when I get to checkout.
#16
I just went to order some books from this site but checked in their terms and conditions and it says that you must order 4 more books from them in your first years membership.
#17
Hate these scummy book clubs that try and trick people into buying more. Just sell the books at a reasonable price in the first place like the book people.
#18
Three sets of the Peter Rabbit books ordered, can't go wrong at this price!!

I have used them loads & its not a club!

I have just ordered 2 sets of the Peter Rabbit books then something else & it went through @ £1.99 which is what my other item cost. My confirmation page showed them as ordered though. Wonder if they will cancel the order but I hope not as I really want the Peter Rabbit books!
#23
