Building on the success of the first generation eTouch range which placed Elonex as the UK's top 3 tablet manufacturer and top 2 eBook Reader manufacturer (IDC), its time to introduce the newest additions to our range.

Our goal with these new products has been to make our product more personal to you. We've added a range of new features, styles, colours and sizes so there is an Elonex product to suit everyone's lifestyle, and most importantly, everyone's budget.

these tablet thingies are all over the place and I want to get one for my hols.

These seem a reasonable bit of kit at a fair price..............................unless someone knows differently. X)
cant easily see if these screens are resistive or capacitive screen. anyone know?
we bought the 7" first ones before xmas both went back within a week and upgraded to the 10" they went back before the new year.they where both slow ,no flash player ,non responsive and keep freezing .
toysrus said that it was a problem with them and they have had loads back.
bought one of these from the gadget show live this month, and so far had no problems, ideal for internet/email although as all things like this it is best and quicker to use wifi network.
also using android it is a doddle to download apps, and as i got this for books is an all in one e reader without the need for a kindle and laptop.

oh and i paid £99.99 for mine result

Some are capacitive and some are resistive, it states this in their specifications.
Wait for it....resistive Vs capacitive screen arguments...!
Could I ask that everyone looks at this in paticular, elonex blade. The better model, priced at £189

Worthy alternative to advent vega which some people do not like the screen on?

I personalkly think your better off with the vega. This has a 800mhz processor and thr vega a dual core 1000mhz. Vega is more likely to run honeycombe better and to get it. This is obviusly an improvement from the 1st gen which were poor.
no 1ghz for the money seems a bit low spec
