Will vote hot as this is a good cheap printer with cheap inks available - choice stationery sell them at 2 quid each.
But note this printer is sloooooww and NOISY.

Epsom are cool as they sell cheap in as other printers work out more due to ink carts so i say hot

I bought the DX7400 in Tecos for £49.95 awhile ago - good printer/photocopier/scanner

Have Epson sorted out their dreaded clogged printhead problem?

I've owned 2 Epsons in the past and both were terrible for that (as have been many an Epson model looking up their history): Leave them alone for a couple of days and the heads would clog badly needing at least a couple of cleaning cycles to get them running properly again. Left for a week and you'd easily get through a cartridge trying to clear the heads.

So yes, you can get cheap carts for them, but the wasted ink in cleaning the heads all the time made for a false economy in the end.

Argos brighton also had epson model DX4450 on display and down from £59.99 to £29.99 (but can't find it online, nearest is the one below), but don't know if its anygood.
