If you create a trial account (follow the URL) after you have made the account and log into Warcraft on the character screen you can click upgrade now and if you wish to purchase all the previous expansions and Mists of Pandaria it will only cost £44.99 for a full upgraded account.
striker331 - If you have an old account, regardless off whatever expansion, you can also get a free upgrade to cataclysm and a free level 80 character to come back via scroll.

The burning Crusade - £25
Wrath of the Litch King - £30
Cataclsym - £30

I know people sell them on eBay but that’s at the seller/buyers risk I personally would not advise it.
So a upgrades not on the cards :|

lol, I did it, didn't pay anything and get Cataclsym for free...

If your talking about the scroll which boost you to level 80 with a possible server transfer if you want and account upgrade to Cataclysm expansion you get reffered by someone who is still playing.
You give them your email used for your battle.net account and they then refer you
Software is useless without the codes and the codes if you have played it at ALL will be tied to an account and therefore unable to be sold.
