Had these in the pound shop in east Kilbride!

The ad for these makes me laugh, it uses the song 'Monster' by 'The Automatic', mildly sucessful indie song to toy selling jingle I kinda feel sorry for them, sell-outs.

Great deal, my son was after some of these. :)

Might be that actually this is the only recent song most 5-6year old boys know. Since they are the target Market makes sense to me.

glad everyone is finding these helpful! :)

I would if I was giving it to my kids. Heavy metals and other toxic substances in knock-off Chinese toys and all.

Edit: The genuine ones are stupidly expensive, aren't they?

Most of these things are churned out at the same factory "after hours" if the manufacturer orders 5000 then the firm churn a few more out to sell on and line their pockets. That's what used to happen with the quality DVD releases you used to get that looked identical to the "genuine" article

These could even being sold off cheap due to a cock up on the labels ie Nana instead of Nano so could be genuine but seconds happens all the time with translation issues

Might be shipped direct from mainland China, even though they say Hong Kong.
#37
what shipping method are people using with focal price? just the airmail one or the ems because thats adds about $20 on the price

AIUI it's often not the same factory but shadow factories set up by the businesses running the real ones. So when the licence holding company, who has commissioned the production of the genuine items, doesn't find anything fishy when they turn up on a unannounced audit.

anyone else notice, the fake says 'nana' on packaging, the original says 'nano'

Doh! I didn't notice and I was looking :) The main difference I saw was the lack of the extended label that says" Nano" on the real one next to "3+" printing.
