Cheap TV for utter cheap people. Anyone praising this clearly can't afford a good brand and have never experienced one. The "I can't praise this enough crowd". Pathetic.

In a nutshell, it’s the ability to display a wider and richer range of colours, much brighter whites, and much deeper, darker blacks. This gives the TV picture a more ‘dynamic’ look, which is where the name comes from.

We bought a Hisense 65 inch 2 years ago and I cannot praise it enough, fantastic value for money.

Anyone know the difference between this TV and the 50H7GB?
Thanks

It's ok thanks. Seems I've taken a link to the USA and that's for their market (misled by the GB bit)

Via OTA? I got the 50" 4K model (I'm sure model number is same) from Amazon a few months back, but no 4K YouTube?

I brought one of these for my bedroom it's got 4K Netflix but not Amazon so I ended up getting a fire tv 4K box for it on prime day.the TV really is a great tv and I often play Xbox one on it with out any lag problems with out game mode on.

What would you suggest is better for this price?

Or do you just consider people that don't have or want to spend considerably more than £370 on a TV 'pathetic'?

Or maybe you just lack any common sense? There is a reason Hisense are 3rd biggest supplier of TVs in the world and there is a reason they are plastered over a lot of major sporting events.

Get used to the name Hisense cause they ain't going anywhere and only going to get bigger.

I'm tempted to buy a Hisense to replace my kaput Samsung, they're a cheaper brand but build quality wise they're on par with the likes of LG and Samsung.

I've seen a couple of their larger offerings 65 inchers both curved and flat and they were on par with our Samsung UE65H8000 and that was over £2000 in 2014.

What you're doing there is attaching loyalty to brand names based on experience from years ago. You are a bands dream.

All those manufacturers now outsource some manufacturing and simply badge products relying on consumer loyalty from yester-year. Keep buying what you know. The more enlightened will look at the market with objective eyes and make informed decisions based on current models. I'm not saying this particular TV is any good - but I bet you will find worse Philips, samsung, LG or Panasonic for more money.

Oh and as for warranty - that's usually the retailers not the manufacturers. Richer sounds offer 5/6yr warranties on Hisense Tv's (sponsors of Euro 2016 btw)

The irony is strong with this one!

Samsung don't have a great history when it comes to displays.

I'll accept your view as being correct when I see you driving a Bugatti Veyron, down the street instead of whatever you drive now.

And anybody who ever bought a Samsung Q1 would have called them a third rate company at the time too.

I own one. It's a **** TV, the system lag is ridiculous and it lacks some pretty basic features (no apps, not even ITV player). The picture is OK though - just bear in mind you're very much getting what you pay for here.

Completely incorrect. Don't spout nonsense if you don't have a clue what you're talking about.
