the one im drinking has 11 strawberries, an apple, a banana, an orange, some lime and 11 grapes in it..

you'd be hard pressed to get all that for a pound...

However the stuff you make at home, you know is fresh and has not been sat for ages in some factory before being mixed with copious amounts of sugar.

I work in on a bottling line making this and no sugar is added its all natural fruit they even use recycled bottles, they wont use normal ones!

Innocent smoothies, although very well marketed still talk a lot of bull****, they're heat treated so a fair amount of the nutrients are lost.

Just invest in a juicer; £50 - bag of apples/pears from your local market won't set you back more than a few £££ and it'll be better on your pocket, and your health. Juices are are lot better than smoothies.

Absolute rubbish. The pulp you get with smoothies are a great source of fiber.

What's with all the animosity towards Innocent smoothies in this thread? I think they're one of the better products you can get at supermarkets-plus they're packaging and the written descriptions on them make them quite endearing- for a smoothie drink anyway.

Probably the fact they are usually well overpriced.

I suppose that's true, especially the smaller bottles. I do usually only take a punt on them when they're on offer...
