New 16gb iPhone SE on a refresh deal £228
These phones are £350 in argos etc, the second hand ones on O2 are also selling for this same price !!
Found this whilst looking for a replacement iphone for my Wife after her iPhone 5 stopped working :-(

.
Go for the 3gb deal with £59.99 upfront and £28.50 a month
Airtime - £21.50 / Device plan - £7
The phone element of contract is £7/month x 24=£168
plus the £59.99 you paid upfront.
Total - 168 + 59.99 = 227.99
.
.
Step by step guide for this deal (borrowed from Vassy4u - Thanks)

1) Follow the get deal button, purchase the £59.99 + £28.50 tariff.

2) Receive your phone and sim card.

3) Put the sim card into your phone and go onto myO2 (app or website) and from there request the unlock code.

4) Call 202 from the same sim card as it will make things much easier, go straight to the I want to leave o2 department or something like that (I think it's thinking of leaving us? Press something) as that will connect you with the right people much quicker.

5) Tell the person you want to pay your device in full and cancel the airtime. They will ask you why, tell them you don't think the airtime is a good value for money, but you want to keep the phone because you think it's an outstanding value for money. They will ask you for card details, you tell those details and that's it, they cancel it for you in about an hour.

6) You own the phone from that point, assumed that you have done this straightaway, there won't be any charges, otherwise you will have to pay as much airtime as you have used.

7) Unlock code will come through in about 2 to 48 hours.

Bought this deal before Christmas, such a great phone! Surprised the deal is still available.

Are you not tied in a contract for the airtime too ?

no, you pay off the phone straight away & cancel the airtime contract :-)

it does say all in post I think

don't stress over it not working as you have the 14 day cooling off period where you can return the phone
But it does work anyway :-) :p

Massive difference between £228 and £349 though and plenty of space for many.

Apologies I misread. I would still say skip the 16 this does live photos and has a high res camera. If you use it properly you'll find the 16 restrictive and you may as well buy a refurb 5s.

Great price on the 64gb
where as on the 16gb deal I think my deal is better :p as its a brand-new phone & with the current "3" sim we have we get unlimited data for £20 more !
A great site to consider though before buying - Thanks :)

I can't say I am an Apple fan but a good deal is a good deal whatever floats your boat!!

I have no idea why this is cold. I have had a SE since June last year. Great phone.

For those that say 16GB is not enough because of the photos. You should think about storing/synching all your photos to some sort of cloud. If you loose/break the phone they are gone anyway. I use Google photos which is free and supports live photos.

The deal is hot for what it is.

When we were on holiday (with iffy wifi access at best), having left the UK with a cleared down phone 64Gb SE, we came back with 27Gb of photos and videos on it. My work 5S 16Gb which has just apps that I need to use daily (finance, travel, and a few other bits), a couple of downloaded albums to listen to on my commute, and two email accounts, is constantly telling me it's out of space even to do updates to the OS. To avoid carrying a personal phone as well, I've got a PhotoFast dongle thing that lets you back up media onto microSD.

Totally agree with backing up to the cloud, and that's before I dropped the thing in the pool (fully recovery made with a quick-thinking drinks waiter who ran in and came back with a bowl full of rice without my asking for it!). However, sometimes it's just not practical to have enough access to let you clear down the phone.

By the way, clouds can lose data too... I back up onto my server at home, and the cloud is the backup for that. Only once I've got that data in two alternative places do I delete off the phone itself. I'll try to delete the duplicates and bad photos at the same time - again, something that we struggle to do when you're in the thick of a holiday and day-to-day life.

I bought iPhone SE 3GB contract yesterday. Today paid the device in full over phone but when asked for cancellation of contract. They asked me to give them 30 days notice as according to them 14 days cooling off period does not apply if I retain the device as per O2 terms and condition. I have argued with the representative and their team leader over phone for one hour but end result was he is saying that I have to pay for one month otherwise he gave me an email address [email protected] to write to them to escalate the matter.
Any help/advise from you guys please ???

Yep exactly the same conversation I had when I paid in full just now :-S

Just rang again and they said if 14day cooling period, you would have to return handset and then would get charged nothing. But as keeping handset, you need to give 30days notice hence charged 1 month at £21.50
#28
o2 refresh is a big big big massive scam.
just found they charged my bank account £409.00 5 weeks after I canceled my contract and paid the phone price.

My wife bought this phone as described above, unlocked it no probs, they said they shold be charging 30 days but as she hasn't used it they were not going to !
She Paid £230 for iPhone SE :-) (she did have to ring them up to sort out a bill demand !)
(I tried with P9 but they tried to do me for the 30 day fee so I said fine - have it back!)
Not the best organised company I will agree !
