That's the ad supported version though. The version with out ads is $89, we only have the ad-free one in the UK.

Nice to see they've finally put it up for sale in the UK - I only sold mine a month ago - gave up waiting! Happy with my Nexus 7 now, even if it's possibly not quite the specs of the Kindle Fire HD!

It was only announced 2 hours ago and not shipping until end of Oct but Stuff magazine already reviewed it??
Any cheap mini-usb wall plug works, I think? I'd even go as far as to plugging the cable into an Apple mains plug. (If you have an Apple device that is!)

The HD was announced this evening, stuff reviewed the Fire that was released in the US ages ago, the MK1. Question is why are we NOT getting the full HD display version?? :(

This is a different machine, no way you would get a refund for the difference!
You've got 30 days to return it. Simply do that and buy the new version.
