Ok so this may not be an actual deal (I guess its RRP) but nowhere else it selling it yet and store says In Stock for 2-3 business day delivery. If you want to be first to own and wow someone heres your chance :-) Quidco are advertising 5% cashback on Lenovo shop purchases.

Interested to hear peoples thoughts on this new style multi-mode laptop (Virtual keyboard with wacom functions and novel transfer of notes from paper to screen). Seems to be a good option for students/artists but will divide opinion no doubt.. personally I like the look of it and can see a lot of use cases in the office and at home.

lots of hands on reviews out there incl this one:

I have to say I really like the form factor. It is rare to see decent new design of laptops these days so I welcome this as hopefully a stepping stone to more innovation. If this was more Ultra-book than Net-book I would be seriously considering it I like the form factor so much.

i agree. the most innovative laptop styled product I've seen in a while. I imagine if successful the more powerful yoga line could expand on the design concept

Looks half decent

using one now, gotta say its a brilliant device! not a powerful beast but for productivity on the go its brilliant. keyboard and stylus are VERY impressive

I see that it isn't advanced enough to recognise apostrophes though. Only joking :p

I like it. Very tempted to get one as a device to pop in my bag and carry around for basic needs whilst commuting and away from main computer at work. Small and light much like an iPad but with greater productivity potential. The price is appealing too. If it were a couple of hundred pounds more expensive I wouldn't consider it.

Couple of gripes. I'd rather have 3:2 or 4:3 screen, and a would pay a bit more for it to have a fingerprint reader.

Have given heat as the price is lower than at PC World and John Lewis where its £550 for the Windows version.

What's the balance of weight like? I'm assuming the write pad houses the battery (akin to a regular laptop) and so is reasonably heavy relative to the screen? And so the device won't have the same tendency to tip back when the screen is angled back like screen-heavy detachables do (e.g. Acer Switch 10)? But interested in having it confirmed before I order one.

Looking forward to the chrome os version that is rumoured to be in the pipeline.

For the Windows version, yes. And I notice it (Windows version) is currently out of stock at PC World and John Lewis. Perhaps its selling better than anticipated.

did anyone buy the Windows version, is the windows version slow and prone to freezing. I am tempted by the Win version but I fear it will be very slow

Currys has it for £549 with 10% off (£494)

Android version is 399 on ao.com this weekend - offer is spend over 399 on anything this weekend and get 50 quid off
