This is my first post so please be gentle.
I was in the Cheshunt Tesco Extra (brookfield centre) and came across this in the clearence isle. It was £149.99, now half price at £74.99. My sons birthday is coming up so i thought it was ideal, loads of sounds and lights And 2 and a half feet long!
I dont know if it is nation wide or if its only available in the larger stores, but they had quite a few left on the shelves.
In-store only, not available from tesco direct anymore.
Have a look at the specs: http://www.hasbro.com/starwars/default.cfm?page=News/Item&newsid=0CF4393B-D56F-E112-4F75D3D570D34100

Make sure you glue it together or you will spend every day putting bits back on that have fallen off.

Oh and don't try and actually play with it.

Is it a written rule that when it is someone's first post they have to put:

"This is my first post so please be gentle."

It really makes me cringe.

This thread title is misleading. It doesn't say that the item in question is only a model.

I was looking forward to buying an actual Millenium Falcon for £75 and going to Tatooine for the weekend, I'd even told my Mrs to pack her bikini and womprat repellant, but now my plans have been dashed.

I wonder if a millennium falcon qualifies for the scrappage scheme

I got this a few weeks ago for this price at Amazon. It is very impressive and well worth £75. However a word of warning - you also really need to get the 'Traing on the Falcon Battle Pack' to go with it ( http://www.hasbro.com/shop/details.cfm?guid=F4DB1857-6F95-1014-AC4F-9CBB844E488B&product_id=23787&src=endeca ). Unfortunately they are very rare and cost a bunch. I managed to bag a new one on ebay for £30. :-D

EDIT ... Just checking Amazon trader has 1 left in stock for £30 ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Legacy-Collection-Battle-Training-Millennium/dp/B0015R30UO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=toys&qid=1242213498&sr=8-4 ) ... get in their quick !!!

Don't forget you could double up your tesco vouchers to spend on toys! Not quite the 4 times value for other clubcard deals but better than nowt!

This video is hilarious - I love the way they get exicted about how many little hidy holes the thing has that they can store all thier action fugures in.

But who's gonna fly it, kid? You?
(just realised that I now look just as geeky as the two guys from the video...)

why so hot? I thas been on that price for ages on argos!

Unfortunately they discontinued selling it on line and you would have to try in store to see if they have in stock!

Paid £48.00 on mine with some vouchers that I got doing stupid surveys.
