I paid £34.99 for this when it first come out. I thought "money well spent" as i loved the game. Of course i traded it in once i was done with it...but when seeing it at this price i could not turn it down.
#2
I bought it for £2.99 awhile ago for ps3, never played it and traded it in for £4 in Asda... at this price i may have to repurchase!!! if it was ps3 tho...doh!
#3
I enjoyed the game too. Nice find! Really good price.

why is this game so cheap ??? i mean this isnt the first time its been cheap EA must have made a balls up with there production order number.

Wow. Bargain of the century, this game is great fun with some neat ideas. Easily worth a couple of quid to anyone who's not played it yet.

If it's a crap game it's still a bad deal at £2. Then again I don't horde games, have only really kept racers, CODs and Rockstar games, so don't really purchase any games just for the sake of it.

This has been £5 in every sale since 2009 Xmas, popped up with DSG stores numerous times. Still the cheapest yet but there's a reason why

Its not a bad game, its one of the most innovative titles on the current consoles. Some people just have no time for games which lack headshots and repetitive online FPS components. I paid £20 for it back in the day and still feel like I got a bargain, still keep coming back trying to perfect my score in the time trial modes.

The game is excellent and deserves the second chance that Assassin's Creed got. For £2 it's a no-brainer: find out for yourself whether you like it or not. Clearly it polarises gamers, as evidences here (and every time a deal for it has been posted).

It just didn't sell. Its surprising how little marketing EA dedicated to this, nowadays all you have to do is advertise in a Champions League ad break and all the casuals flock out and buy it regardless of quality. I also think the box art doesn't appeal to the window shopping buffoon. To interest them they should have changed Faith into your run of the mill Croft-alike.

Shame we'll never see a sequel, whilst drivel like Kane & Lynch and Army of Two got theirs.

Shame it's not online, My local HMV is miles away :-(

At £2 is a must buy/try for everyone - if a free demo is on XBL try it tonight.
loved this game, but as I get older I find fast controls tough to keep up with! got stuck on 3rd level or something and its gathering dust.

has been at £3 in HMV for months now, thought they cleared all stock but saw 1 copy in my local earlier. shame no ps3 deal

I've got this game on the shelf still in the packaging lol.

I bought this for £5 last year. Got really addicted to it. Awesome game, especially for £2.

I bought it for £18 a couple of months after it came out, it's one of my favorite games of all time, people just play it and think it's boring because you're not really meant to use guns etc. I just loved the unique style of it and giving myself the challenge of playing it on Hard Mode without using a gun throughout. I've completed this game 10 times, once on Easy, 3 times on Medium and 6 times on Hard. I must say now that I am a little bored of it but after completing it that many times I'm still not good enough to complete all of the time trials.

I wish they did make a second, I'd be very happy. **** the COD lovers who don't have a varied taste in games, I have 185 xbox 360 games in at least 14 different genres and I like almost every single one. People just need to stop being so picky, especially at as low as £2.

This game is amazing and it always goes for super-cheap. If you have a gaming PC get it in the next Steam sale, it goes for about £3. The graphics on the PC version are spectacular.

I got the PS3 version, and liked the idea of the game, but gave up trying to get the hang of the controls. You have to perform carefully timed jumps from ledge to ledge, a bit like tombraider, however the restricted view means you cant actually see the ledge you are jumping off, and if you miss you just fall and instantly die. Then it got even worse in that I couldnt see the ledge I was supposed to be jumping too either. Felt like too much punishment and not enough reward.

Gave this a go ages back and even at £2 doesnt make me want it again. Its quite a novelty but that novelty soon wears out and it didn't really make me want to carry on to the end.

Good game, well worth £2!

I felt the running and jumping elements were seamless. Are you sure you weren't jumping at points you should have been wall running? I think a lot of players struggled because they were stopping and walking around the area as opposed to just legging towards the colours almost getting tunnell vision.
My criticism would be at the pointless gun sections they ruined this game. The latter stages in confined spaces aren't worth playing. £2 is about right for effectively half a game.

Whilst my total collection isn't as impressive as yours (something like 150 across PS3/PSP/360/DS/PC), it's certainly as varied. I loved this game and thought it was fantastic when I bought it on release day. There's really nothing else like it out there, a bit like the niche that Portal has found so much success from.

For 2 quid, whatever your preconceptions are, you should try this game.

I will be buying this tomorrow, if my local store has one!

Pretty amazing game to be honest. When I first heard about the concept behind Mirrors Edge (freerunning and that), I hadn't had very high expectations at all. I was pleasantly surprised, great little gem of a game.

If you don't have it and pass it up for £2 you are a fool. A Foooooooool!

Great game. Gutted I missed the dashboard deal for the DLC maps. I can't quite bring myself to pay what they're asking for (more than the game's now worth!)

I think once you get to grips with the controls it really is an awesome game. Its frustrating at times because the controls don't always respond exactly how you feel they should. I got completely hooked on this game a year ago and completed it 100% inc time trials, as I say, once you get to grips with the controls it really is a masterpiece. I hope they do release a second game. Stylistically its completely original, loved the music too. :)

Glad to see some people liked it, it really shocks me that so many people hate it..my total collection is over 200 I believe, just 185 for Xbox 360. xD

I loved the music as well, I've got the soundtrack, glad you enjoyed it. I actually had no problem with the controls on PC OR Xbox 360, they were harder on PC for me though but that bit in the tutorial where you have to run, turn and climb up that thing was easy to me within 2-3 tries. Even though I found the controls easy to pick up on, I'm STILL not good enough for some time trials. XD

£2!!!! HMV never gonna get out of their £90m in debt if they sell stuff at this price LOL

I spent 3 pounds something on it and I think they were well spent. The game is decent if you like the concept of it and for £2... it's hotter than ever
