I have it, its so annoying. Tom tom easy enough to put on it, but the time is ALWAYS wrong. I was told you can sort it, but dont know how. Has been posted millions times before though/

I have a version 1 and I bought my father inlaw the version 3, personally I prefer the v1. The route finding software that was supplied with v3 kept locking up.

Nice looking model ,but i'll give it a miss .I already have v1 4.3" & v2 3.5" , both withTT7 on. Highly recommended satnav unit though. In fact there more like a PDA with capabilities for listening to music, viewing photos & films .

I have the V2 unit; it gets the time from the satellites so it's always wrong when you first power it up, but only takes a few moments to find the real time. Not a problem in practice, is it?

No apparently its a problem with the V3 menu and you need to put the v2 menu on the v3, but I dont know how to do it

Just been reading some of the posts on the PCT***** site , one or two problems with the v3 .Get it wrong and you run the chance of bricking it.

As long as you back everything up, its fine. Main issue is the time issue, which I still need to sort

Another problem with the V3 is it's NOT SDHC compatible like V1 & V2 are !!

I've got the same problem with the time and I can't find a way to fix it.

The unit is set to the correct time but TT7 decides it 's own time. Not a huge problem as I just take the time from the radio head unit instead.

When working out when I'll arrive somewhere I have to again ignore the ETA in TT7 and work it out myself from the time left and the time on the head unit.

Otherwise V2 on TT7 is great (does loads but looks like a cheap plastic brick)

If V3 is a better looking unit and still runs TT7 it's a good deal.

I installed TT7 with uk maps and also tried Western Europe. It's so easy a baby could do it. Actually, I tried the navigo software and was impressed, far better maps than TT, but not so many features. I'd definately recommend v3 for either navigo or TT.

Oh yeah, and to sort the time just changed my timezone to subtract 8 hours. Once it connects to a satellite it shows the correct time.

The funny thing is it tends to be around 40 mintues out so I'm not sure it's a time zone issue.

I'll look into it sometime
