Worried you'll miss your delivery while you're out of the house? With our new Order & Collect service, you'll never miss a Boots.com delivery again. With this new service
With this new service you will now be able to order online and collect in a store near you. We will try to ensure your order is sent to the store within 4 working days - or earlier if at all possible. You will then have a two week period to collect it - lots of time for you to find a convenient day for you.

Our Order & Collect service is available on almost all of our items, is really easy to use, and has lots of offers and Boots Advantage Points too! This great new service is now available in over 1200 stores and is FREE when you spend £45 or more in a single transaction.

Using 'Order & Collect'

Add your item to your shopping basket as normal (the majority of items are available for Order & Collect, those that aren't are highlighted in your shopping basket.)
At the checkout select 'Collect it from a Boots store'.
Enter your postcode to search for a convenient store to collect in, and select your preferred store.
Enter your details and complete the secure online payment.
Print the confirmation page and make a note of your order number.
Bring your order confirmation page to the store you have chosen and collect your parcel from the photo area of the store. Alternatively, you can ask a member of our team to help you with your order. If you don't have your order confirmation please bring your order number and a suitable form of photo ID.

We'll e-mail you when your order has been despatched, and your order should be available to collect two working days after this email is sent. We know that it's not always convenient to come down to the store straight away so we will look after your order for up to 14 days, so you can collect when it's convenient for you.

Thanks for the heads up.
This seems the way to go for retailers, as it gets you in their stores with more chance of you purchasing something else.
I see that John Lewis have recently added this service as well, though not very effective when offering free home delivery anyway.

Order online and collect in store

Nice that they've started offering this, and I've taken advantage of it myself.
Shame it's not free for any size order though. Hence no heat (I've not voted cold either mind you). Rep added though as not a lot of people probably knew about it.

It is a good service although a bit buggy at the moment!

We ordered some bits for our son and they have a policy of not allowing heavy items to be picked up these must be delivered only. I didn't know that a pack of 4 'Fruity Custard' would be classed as heavy!

Like saintscouple mentioned, it would have got us insotre and we would have needed to get a couple of other bits not available online so they missed out on more dosh from us.

Heat given.

Must admit if i had read the minimum spend part, i too would have refrained from voting.
Makes it sound like an entrance fee :?

You can now also go instore and order something and pay with points. Handy for those people with little branches of Boots.

More i gather but it was not publicised by the store staff its not a new service and has been on the boots site for about a month. thanks to the op for the post  but its not a new service.

You can go instore and use the ordering service too. If the value is under £45 and you have it delivered to store, delivery is free, unlike if you order via the web.

You can also mix offers instore and online too, e.g. if your local store doesn't stock a particular item that is on the christmas 3 for 2, but stocks the other two items, simply but thse two and order the last item and the 3 for 2 will kick in automatically. These must be done in the same transaction though! Came in very handy for me earlier this month when a product had sold out instore but not online.

Sorry but what a waste of time that was. Saw this deal and went straight to Boots to collect Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris. Staff have never heard of them.

Minimum spend £45 no really worth.

This is rubbish - all you are doing is saving Boots money on delivery!!! Its free delivery when you spend that much anyway! SO get it delviered to me house or have to go to the store and get it.... let me think.

True, but the trouble is, if you choose the free delivery option you aren't told exactly when the delivery will arrive. As I wouldn't be at home to collect it I find this a better option.

I collected an order yesterday actually. :santa:
