It does say on the page ;)

Legally, before we can quote you a price to buy a new car, we need to be instructed by you to act on your behalf. We do not make a charge but we do require you to complete the boxes below. Then click Get Discounted Quote Now.

Tripe! Why on earth does ANYONE require my 'instruction' for them to provide me with a price of a product? If that's the case then HOTUKDEALS is breaking the law because according to that tripe, EVERY single deal posted here requires the reader to 'instruct' the provider before they can provide details of the price of a deal!!!! As I said, TRIPE! They want your details so that they can hound you and/or sell them on.

Nice spot shug. BUT.....OMG!!! Pentagon need to be informed... they're actually breaking the law!!! They're providing me with a price and I haven't 'instructed' them!!!!

http://www.pentagon-group.co.uk/new-cars/peugeot/107/1.0+urban+lite+3dr/42599

Might be worth posting that as a deal shug mate... assuming it's not against the law to post deals on here any more...?!?!?!

Site looks a bit dubious, very unprofessional... Pages don't have titles and words missing!

Tables are actually Pictures. I would warn people away from this...

Because they are broker but be aware only deal with trusted broker some can be very pain.

I'm impressed, 14 posts and no mention of "it's French so therefore crap"! Where are the resident 'car experts'?

It's a hot price but I wouldn't touch that company/site with a barge pole.

Looks sh*t, sound sh*t.

In all fairness and at the risk of sounding cavalier and anti-HUKD, I'd rather spend a few hundred extra and purchase it from a reputable/known seller

Because they are broker...
I realise that but broker or not, they do NOT require my instruction to provide me with a price. If they want my business (as a result of me reading the sort of deal they can provide), then tell me up-front what it is you're providing.

My point entirely. I wouldn't trust this outfit as far as I could throw them.

Drivethedeal are well known and have been around for several years, do a search, have been a fair number of deals posted here from them before...

Drive the deal have been around for some time. They have been commented on by papers etc, nothing bad AFAIK. Seems like a fantastic deal. I hope it is as reliable as my 106. 145,000 miles without failing to get me anywhere.

I'm guessing that if this is the way you normally go on and on before even making a purchase then they would probably prefer not to have your business.

The company had £400 in capital 8 months ago, although incorporated 12 years ago.

According to a press release from them, they say that 25% of UK's retail buyers visit their site.

Really!!!!

So let's check Alexa Rank on the internet, it's 542,090 (HOTUKDEALS is 3,018 for comparison)

Hmmm, think I'll go elsewhere!

repeating your google finds with such comments is foolish if you dont understand what your repeating.

If you do a search on my limited company it will say that we've got £100 capital. That's the 100 x £1 shares created 20 years ago. As for the assets of the company then that's another matter.

What assetts or capital do you expect a broker to have or to need anyway?

I googled this for you...

Built in the Czech Republic in the same plant as the Citroen C1 & Toyota Aygo. :{

Yep - it's more Jap than French as Toyota did most of the development.

Purchased a Touran through DTD about 5 years ago. Brilliant price and service. They act as a go between between you and a UK dealer. You put a small deposit down on CC to DTD which is deducted from the final price. Those saying this looks like a dodgy site are talking rubbish.

Hmm... When you are on their site and click 'Special Offers' - for new and unregistered cars they list their discounted price! - so why not for this?
#28
its cheaper than my insurance

No they aren't, it's a poor looking website; might not be a dodgy company but it is a dodgy website.

Agree with Agxie - good people to deal with - bought Citroen C4 through them from Citroen London West - DTD just go-betweens - polite and efficient from my experience. Price was significantly cheaper than anywhere else.

What's a SMART driver and passenger airbag? Does that mean it only goes off during an accident? If so im deffo going to get one, my airbag goes off randomly for no reason all the time :D

Just means if there is nobody in the seat the airbag doesn't go off. It's the same seat sensor that makes that annoying sound that you have not put your seatbelt on!

Can only comment with Positives re: Drive the deal. Bought my 11 plate Octavia through them last month, very professional outfit (albeit the website is functional if not flashy). Went through my order very carefully, explained the full process to me in detail. It's a 100% UK spec car supplied from a UK dealer, colour spec, model etc chosen by myelf. You still get the full 3 years warranty etc. No grey imports. They know what dealer can get you a cracking price and merely refer you to them - what is the risk? To be honest why would you not start with a quote from DTD then see if your local dealer can match. Mine (local dealers) told me he could not buy the car the car in for the price I had been quoted, let alone make a profit. So I proceeded and I have no regrets.

Ordered one about a month ago through DTD. Cost then was £5750.
Haven't paid DTD a penny, they get an introduction fee from the supplying dealer. The deposit & all other matters go to the dealer. When you order the dealer contacts you. May not be the same dealer now but probably is. I can't name them but they are a big long established full Peugeot dealership.
Colour choice on this model is limited to Black (at approx £400 more), Citrus yellow or Lazer red (my choice).
Be aware though that these are factory order cars, not from stock, so 12 weeks until delivery (assuming this is still the same).
I am hoping that the situation in Japan does not extend this period as a lot of parts may be Toyota parts.

OK so the Fabia VRs is ugly..but compared to this, the VRs is super sexy. Horrible horrible car to look at, just as bad to drive..yes it's cheap but for the same money you can get a nice used car that will actually look like a car!

Cheap price but after taking a test drive in one of these when my sister wanted one, I couldnt recommend one to anyone!. Just as bad as the aygo/c1 (same car..)
